We moved over to a large arena where the previous competition was held. We would fight there.
Prince Nasos rose into the air and held out his artifact banner, the Banner of Supremes.
Suddenly, the air in the sky swirled in a violent intensity. But the violent wind wasn't meant to attack me. They were cast to prepare for an ultimate conjuration.
A powerful lightless phantom suddenly appeared from the violent sky to the shock of everybody.
"Lord Phantom of the Dark Realm"
"How can Nasos summon minions of dark magic in a family fight", someone from the viewing platforms shouted out to ask.
"Isn't it illegal to use dark magic in the Ten-Kingdoms?" another asked.
"The Church doesn't exist in Maher city. As long as dark magic is not practiced outside the city, the Church cannot do anything about it. That is the Accord between the families and the church", someone with the knowledge added.
"The magic is cast from a divine artifact, so it is not considered practicing of dark magic", another person from the gallery with knowledge explained.
Prince Nasos would resort to the use of dark magic to fight me. Although that was technically not illegal in Maher city, it was a desperate measure from the Hermaios family.
"No matter how strong you may be, you will not be able to defeat my ethereal phantom once it is summoned. This is the magic of the gods", Prince Nasos shouted to me.
"Moron, of all things that you can summon, you summon this", I replied to him.
Perhaps luck was on my side because of all the demonic presences and dark magic that Nasos could have summoned, he chose something that I was familiar with.
Suddenly, the sky turned dark.
Princess Theoni rose into the sky beside Nasos, holding out her silken gauntlet to the heavens.
A dark lightless dagger began to form, after absorbing all the light from its surroundings, squeezing out the day from the sky.
"Dagger of Night Culling"
"This is the strongest magic of the Diabolese family. The Dagger of the Night Culling can take anyone's soul, even a divine being, once it is targeted. Nobody can escape from it, not even a god", someone with knowledge explained about the dagger from the viewing gallery.
"That is an overkill to use it against the Bully", another added.
"This is interesting. A God slayer", I said to myself.
This weapon was exactly what I might need.
Then Prince Vlassis appeared before the trio and swung his longsword. A large, conjured sword began to form in the air that was as large as a tower or building.
"Sword of Dominon"
"The Sword of Dominon can destroy an entire army. We are doomed", one spectator shouted out before running.
The elders of the families quickly surrounded the arena and reinforced the borders of the arena with a protective force shield. That was to prevent the powerful clash of magic in the arena from escaping to harm the spectators.
"The Bully cannot survive these powerful divine artifacts", a spectator shouted out his opinion.
"Hey, even one of these artifacts is enough to kill the Bully many times over", another added.
I was now faced with an onslaught of the strongest weapons and artifacts that were ever used before me.
"The Bully has finally met his match", a third spectator summarized and said, echoing my thought at the moment.

"Aren't those the ultimate divine artifacts of the three major families of Gamanos, Hermaios and Diabolese?" Elder Argyriss asked.
"These old fools would not bring these artifacts out when we fight with the demon army at the borders but will take them out now as wager to fight against Oriese", Elder Likourgoss replied about the elders of the three clans.
"Will this arrogant young star of our family survive this battle?" another elder asked.
"What do you think, Geoffraie?" Elder Argyriss asked Prince Geoffraie.
"It is a tough battle, but I've seen Oriese face even greater odds and win", Prince Geoffraie replied to them with his fingers crossed.
"These three knights can't muster the power to activate the magic of the three divine artifacts. We worry too much", Elder Likourgoss told them his assessment.
The powerful divine artifacts that the three families brought out were immensely powerful, but their might required an equally powerful might to wield. The three knights, Vlassis, Nasos and Theoni, although talented and remarkable, were still too inexperienced to master their use.
However, the truth was they managed to do so.
"Something is not right. How can these knights summon magic that even Lord Knights of the Order of Cross wouldn't be able to command comfortably by themselves", another elder queried.
"Indeed, these knights' magic are far beyond our imagination", Elder Argyriss added and wondered.
The three divine artifacts of the families were not artifacts designed to be wielded by a single individual.
They were the divine artifacts of their clan which protected their clan in times of distress and war. These divine artifacts were meant to be wielded in major battles and wars against armies of thousands.
Scores of powerful knights and conjurers would be needed to use such artifacts, but these three knights could wield them effortlessly.
"Son, be careful with the divine artifacts", Orol shouted to me worriedly from the viewing pavilion.
"There is nothing to be worried about. Just relax and watch the show", I replied to him.
"The young arrogant star of our family is confident. Perhaps we worry too much", Elder Argyriss said to them.
"Maybe we are just too old", Elder Likourgoss added.
"The three families are bringing their ultimate weapons to fight against the Bully. It is an overkill," someone asked and opined while seated at one of the floating pavilions overseeing the duel.
"What is the Bully going to do now against the strongest magic of the three families?" someone who watched the fight asked.
"If the three families lose this fight and their divine artifacts, it will be the end of the three family's dominance in the kingdom. The sky over Drachia will no longer be the same", someone else added.
"It is about time the reign of the sky over Drachia shall experience a change", I shouted out to the guy who said that in reply.
