THE FLAME OF THE DRAGONS

"What happened? Where did you bring me? How did you conjure a battle realm like this?" Lilith asked me as she explored my battle realm.

"At first this started as a chaos skill that pitted me against my opponent in a deadly duel. By chance I obtained a path of chaos in me and in time I obtained this realm as my Battle Realm", I replied to her.

A Battle Realm is a magic space or projection that only the strongest beings could project when they duel with their strongest opponents. The Battle Realm would replenish the mage with magic that they have affinity with and even affect their opponents.

In my case, my Battle Realm was a special chaos dimension that I created, and I discovered that I could conjure this realm, when I summoned a deadly duel with my opponents, The Fate of Gemini divided.

"How did you detach from the soul of Asmodeus? That is not possible", Lilith asked me.

"Usually that is not possible, but my Battle Realm has rules of its own that even Angels could not break. Once I enter this realm for a duel, nothing from the outside can interfere, even the soul of a Dark Angel. We are fortunate the Dark Angel's soul left my soul realm to attack you otherwise he would enter this realm with me", I replied to her.

"Have you separated yourself from the Dark Angel? It is almost unheard of that an Incarnate could do that", Lilith asked me.

"Yes, I believe Ranas had told you about our plan beforehand", I asked her.

"Yes, all you have to do is to act your part and lure the soul of the Dark Angel out", I added.

"How did you know the Dark Angel's soul was ready for astral projection?" Lilith asked me.

"I have a little rat spy who was always hiding in the Dark Angel's chamber in my soul. He discovered that the Dark Angel was preparing to use this ability when it suits him. We just need to give him a little urge to use it", I replied.

"The rat? Greed? Even the bitch's offspring works for you. That is unbelievable", Lilith told me.

"It is believable if you know how the bitch treats her kin", I said.

"Yes, I know. She was my sister", Lilith replied to me before she added, "I understand now why Xexgana will trust you with the Sword of Angel".

"Yes, I promise him to kill Asmodeus", I said to her.

"How can you do that? It is impossible to kill the Dark Angel's souls even if it is just his former souls", Lilith asked me.

"I have the Sword of Angels. Will that help?" I asked her.

"The Sword of Angels is missing one main ingredient- the Flame of Dragons", she told me.

"Damn", I replied to her before I asked, "Why did that bastard Asmodeus and his bitch covet your Flame of Dragon?"

"Oh, you do not know it yet? My Flame can help them merge with your souls, so you will become one. The Trinity in the past uses the Flame of the Dragon to merge with their incarnates to ensure the continuity of their existence", she explained to me.

"I don't understand, are they using me to reincarnate?", I asked her to explain further.

"Asmodeus and the dead souls of previous Dark Angels and failed Incarnates were dead a long time ago. They will use your ascension to resurrect to become a part of the new Dark Angel. And the same goes with my sister, she needs your wife to resurrect", she explained to me.

"Did you say this is a Battle Realm of dueling?" Lilith asked me.

"Yes, this realm is a duel. But don't worry, this is my realm. I will find a way to nullify our duel", I told Lilith about my plan.

"That is not necessary. I would have been killed by that bastard Asmodeus if you have not brought me in here. With hindsight, it would have been impossible for me to kill him. My vengeance would never have materialized", Lilith said to me.

"I promise to end Asmodeus one day, we just need to have patience", I replied to her.

"Yes, you shall keep your promise to my son, Xexgana. Now bring out the Sword of Angel", Lilith asked me.

"The Sword of Angel?" I asked before I brought the rusty sword out and showed it to her.

Suddenly, to my surprise, Lilith's being quickly evaporated into magical essence that rushed into my sword.

"This is the Flame of the Dragon. It is the secret magic of the Trinity that even the Angels do not know exists. If what Xexgana told you is correct, he must have discovered that the Flame of the Dragon is an ingredient of the Sword of Angel", Lilith told me in her fleeting voice.

"Damnit, you don't need to sacrifice yourself", I told her.

"It is better this way. I am bored of living already. There is nothing left for me to live on", she said sadly.

"Can I kill Asmodeus with the sword now once I leave this realm?" I asked her.

"No, the Sword of Angel is not complete. The Flame of the Dragon is not enough to awaken its magic. The flame is only a fire starter. You will need a bigger flame to fully awaken the Sword of Angel", Lilith replied to me.

"What bigger flame?" I asked again.

But she wouldn't reply to me. Soon, Lilith was gone.

I was returned to Lilith's prison chamber.
