"What is the Trial of Killings?" I asked.

"Husband, you shall kill this vile bitch as you should have done all those years ago. Your mercy came back to haunt you in this traitorous bitch", Rinna or the possessed Rinna said to me.

"You are not my husband", Lilith said to me suddenly.

"No, I am not. You got that right", I replied to her.

"That is strange, why are you not influenced by Asmodeus's evil mind", Lilith asked me when she realized something on my neck.

"I am my own person, and I have cute accessories", I replied to her.

I was wearing a bell, the Bell of Separation.

The Bell of Separation once belonged to the chaos god, Delirium. It could separate my consciousness from the Dark Angel soul within me, preventing him from controlling or even hearing my thoughts.

"It seems you have help from a divine source. No matter. It will be easier for me to deal with you without that bastard interfering", Lilith said to me.

"Kill the bitch now", the possessed Rinna shouted to me suddenly to my shock and horror.

"Shut up", Lilith replied to her when the chains on her were released.

The chains that once chained Lilith went to Rinna to chain her up, to our shock and surprise.

"No, how can you chain me?" Rinna asked Lilith.

"These chains were never there to chain me in the first place. I set this place as a trap for you when you will come down here to kill me and covet my flame", Lilith told her.

"Release Rinna", I demanded from Lilith.

"She is not your wife. At least not at the moment", Lilith replied to me.

"What do you want?" I asked Lilith.

"I want vengeance", Lilith replied to me.

"Damn, I have no grudge against you. Will you leave us alone. Me and my friends", I pleaded with the Mother of Dragons and gave her a wink.

"We may have no grudge between us, but you carry Asmodeus' soul inside of you. There is no end between us unless one of us is killed", Lilith said to me.

"Don't you have a trial here? Will you let me go if I complete your trial?" I asked Lilith.

"Yes, of course. I agree with that. Let's begin the Trial of Killings", Lilith said to me.

"Damnit, what the hell is the Trial of Killings?" I asked.

"You must kill Lilith, that is the Trial of Killings. You must kill the Mother of Dragon to complete the Trial of Dragons to obtain their flame", Rinna told me.

In the end, it was still down to a battle to the death between the Mother Dragon and me.

"No, I am not going to do that. I can't defeat this Mother Dragon and I don't want that bloody flame", I said to them admitting defeat.

The Mother Dragon was one of the great divine beings of the Revelations whose magic was equivalent to the Angels. There was no chance that I could kill her with my magic.

"You must conquer Lilith so that your loved ones will live. That is prophesized in the Revelations", the possessed Rinna pleaded with me.

"Bull shyte", I replied to her to her annoyance.

She realized she needed something better to persuade me to fight with Lilith.

"You must kill Lilith otherwise she will kill me, your wife", the possessed Rinna told me to convince me to fight Lilith.

This was the only reason that could make me battle the Mother Dragon.

"Fine, I'll kill you bitch first", Lilith said as she rushed toward Rinna with her claws.

"She's not the bitch mother serpent, don't kill her", I told Lilith.

"I don't care", she replied with a smile.

"Are you sure you are letting Lilith kill me? Your wife's life is at stake here", the possessed Rinna told me.

"What can I do? I am powerless", I replied to her.

"You don't have to do it yourself. Release Asmodeus, the Dark Angel. Let him take over your powers. He will kill Lilith once and for all for us", the possessed Rinna told me.

"That is something I won't do", I replied to her annoyance.

Once I bowed down to the Dark Angel's souls and released him to fight for me, that would probably spell the end of my consciousness. I will resist that till the very end.

Lilith suddenly stopped crushing Rinna's neck.

"I'll kill you first so the bastard will not be released", Lilith said to me.

Lilith changed direction and rushed toward me with shocking speed. I barely dodged her attack.

"You are a stubborn one. I wonder how long you will last before calling out the bastard for my revenge", Lilith told me.

However, Asmodeus the soul hasn't taken over my body and mind yet.

"You may not be able to kill the Dark Angel if I released him. Let's talk first", I suggested to Lilith with another wink.

Lilith thought about it for a short time before replying to me, "It is true that it's difficult to kill Asmodeus even if he is just a soul. Why should I trust you, mortal?"

"Think about it. Both the Dark Angel and Nahase want me to release the Dark Angel's soul to fight with you. They will consume your heart just like how he consumed the hearts of the dragons in the Temple of Dragons", I told her.

"Did you kill my children in the Temple of Dragons?" Lilith asked me angrily all of a sudden upon hearing it.

"Damnit, I shouldn't have talked about this at this time", I complained to myself.

"Not me, it was the Dark Angel's soul. The one you call Asmodeus", I replied to her.

"For that I will kill you too, for taking part in killing of my children", Lilith said to me.

"Your children promised their lives and their hearts to the Dark Angel to save your life. It is time for Asmodeus to claim them after your betrayal. They deserve it", the possessed Rinna told Lilith.
