I know where Luke is

{Camp Half-Blood, 4th of June 2006}

Slipping into my bed, I let my eyes rest, I was tired, more so than usual. I had teleported to anyplace I could think off that could be a good spot for Luke to hide in, but only monsters inhabited those places. I had gone to the Oracle but the only thing I got was silence, except for the first time I went there when she repeated the Great Prophecy.

A half-blood of the eldest gods

Shall reach sixteen against all odds

And see the world in endless sleep

The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap

A single choice shall end his days

Olympus to preserve or raze

That was the Great Prophecy, a prophecy that spelled doom for half-bloods everywhere. At first I thought that the person whom the prophecy was talking about was Thalia, since even in my Misery Dreams it was when she turned 16 that the Titans invaded and destroyed camp.

Now, the only one who fit the bill was Percy, since he was also a son from the Big Three. I had decided to tell him about the prophecy, he may not want to carry the burden, but as of now he was the one meant to do so.

'Stop thinking about this,' I thought to myself, closing my eyes. Then I felt it, the same feeling I hadn't had in more than a year, my father's calling.

{Odysseus Dreamscape, 4th of June 2006}

"It's been a while, huh, son."

I looked around noticing the hundreds of eyes surrounding me, until my gaze landed on the giant eye always talked to.

"Yeah, dad it's been a while. Though I wasn't expecting you to call, especially since I finished my quest since you said you wouldn't be able to talk to me like this anymore."

"Well, let's just say there's been a change of events which has led me to be able to talk to you."

"Uhuh, and what exactly is this change of events, I'm a little caught up on my own events right now."

"It will be easier if I just show you," my dad said. The space around us began to tremble, the eyes quivered for a moment before they shoot out and started gathering themselves into one giant eye in front of me, it's iris the same shade of purple as my own.

The iris expanded enveloping the entire eye, and the purple started changing, inside the eye I could see a figure of a boy tinted in purple with a deep pale purple scar on his face just like the rest of the world, at his side was a giant eight foot tall, a Lastrygonian.

I immediately recognized who the boy was, it was Luke a gleaming sword in hand, I could see how he started approaching a darkened pit, with water falling into it, from four separate directions, from four rivers, the pit was the entrance to the literal hell of greek mythology, Tartarus.

I muttered aloud "No, please don't do it."

The boy couldn't listen to me, his shoes grew out a pair of wings on each and he fell into the pit, yet just as he fell I saw how the backpack he was wearing lifted slightly revealing a glowing blue object which stood out as it was the only thing that wasn't purple, it was the Bolt.

My father's iris shrunk returning to normal, well as normal as it was possible for an eye the size of a football stadium.

"He came through another entrance, one which didn't need Charon's guide. He bathed in the Styx and then jumped into Tartarus."

"Oh great, that's just perfect isn't it." I whined aloud. "The only way to stop the war between the gods is by getting the bolt and the bolt along with it's now almost indestructible owner are in the den of all monsters, Titans and giants aside from the fact that, that place is literally designed to kill demigods."

"Why didn't you tell me before?" I asked, holding my hand to my forehead, feeling a migraine coming in.

"I told you as soon as possible, it only took thirty minutes since he entered the Underworld for him to jump into Tartarus, and it isn't like I am like Tartarus, the Underworld isn't my body on which I keep my eyes on 24/7, he didn't get close to the Walls of Erebus so I couldn't see him the only moment I saw him is because the rivers well is the only place I can constantly see and gaining this visit with you takes a while, it isn't exactly easy."

"Okay, okay. I get it, sheesh don't get your knickers in a twist."

"Bring me out," I continued. "I need to get Luke as quickly as possible."

The giant eye moved up slightly in a nod, then I sunk into the floor beneath me as the space around me broke. I opened my eyes instantly and stood up, I started writing a letter. I walked outside and slipped it under my father's door, before teleporting to the pine tree.

"Master," I heard my three crows say in unison.

"Lailaps, Swiper come out now," at my words my pets jumped out of a shadow each the size of a normal mastiff, it seemed like Swiper had taught Lailaps how to change her size, I wondered how big and small each could grow, I shook my head gathering my important thoughts.

"Listen Lailaps, Swiper, Randy, Skia and Corvus. I'm leaving camp again you're going to stay here and protect it at all costs you get it."

"But-"

"No buts', I interrupted. "This is what is going to happen, and if you truly consider me your master then you'll do as I say and protect camp at all costs. Do you understand?"

"Yes, master." All five of them said in unison bowing their heads.

"Good, now onto the next task," I muttered as I turned to the tree.

I placed my hand on the tree and said, "I'm getting you out of there today, I'm not leaving without saying goodbye to you."

Dark threads escaped from my fingers and entered the tree's pores, at an even faster rate than normal.

Each time I got close to Thalia's oak body, golden shocks would burn away the threads, but there was a moment at the beginning of my procedure were the lightning was deactivated and I had a few minutes to work on healing her, then the lightning would stay awake and I wouldn't be able to heal her for the rest of the day. It was a slow process but little by little I was doing it.

But if I was going to go to Tartarus I had to break her out now, I didn't know how long it would take me to get back or even if I could get back.

So I decided to simply break through what was keeping her turned into a tree, but for that I needed power more power than I had ever had.

Without a second thought I started to chant, "Οπάλιον σβέσον τὸ φῶς σου (Opal dim your light)."

I felt my veins expand, ready to burst at any moment but I pushed the pain down, no matter what I was freeing Thalia today even if it killed me.

Ἄκουε τὴν ἀπαλλαγὴν ταύτην (Hear this fatal plea)."

I could feel how the dark threads started feeding upon the lightning that struck it, inching closer and closer to Thalia's body, still my heart beat faster and faster, it felt like it was going to burst out of my chest. Then I felt another sound, I didn't know if it was in my head, but it sounded like a shackle breaking and then more words flowed into my head.

"Οἱ τὴν ἄμμον τοῦ χρόνου ἐπιτείνοντες (Spur the sands of time)"

I had reached Thalia's body, her heart. Starting to stitch it up all together, little by little I was working, I had lost all sense in my arms, my eyes were blurring, I felt a stinging pain in my left and right hands, as if I was being eaten alive by termites, but I wasn't going to give up not now, not ever. More words flowed into my head, my voice and tone sounding deeper, with more power, more primordial.

"Καὶ τὸ πνεῦμα ἐλεύθερον ποιοῦντες (And set the spirit free)"

As those words left my mouth, I had covered Thalia's entire body with stitches, except for a single millimeter when I closed that up, I felt as something fell on top of me and I immediately stopped chanting.

My heart was still beating fast, too fast for it to be normal, then I felt as if something was missing, I looked to my sides, on my left hand I only had my index and middle finger left the rest were gone, on my right I had lost my pinky, still that didn't matter as I looked at who was on top of me.

She had grown, she looked to be a year younger than me now, but as I looked at her truly for the first time, her blue electric eyes inspecting everything around her, her black hair that reached her shoulders similar to mine, I didn't care what happened to my hand, I just hugged her as hard as I could, as small whimpers escaped my lips.

"Finally, finally. I got you."
