My Reign as a Fatuous Monarch in the Shang Dynasty

After a brief test of the stone seal's functionalities, Di Xin instructed his attendants to accompany Deity Wuyun to the Haoran Academy. On the way, they would assess the aptitudes of all the apprentices in various academies.


Once arrangements were made, news were delivered to Bi Gan and Shang Rong. The two high officials prepared to discuss matters regarding the state treasury.


"Your Majesty, during the recent chaos caused by wars, people suffered greatly, and the national treasury, already strained, faced further depletion due to the construction of the Dragon King Temple and the Haoran Academy," Bi Gan reported.


After contemplating for a moment, Di Xin sighed, "Alas, I was considering easing the tax burden on the people, allowing them to recuperate and thrive. Perhaps even encouraging them to have more children."
