"In grace and charm, Nuwa's form so fair,
If clay could breathe, a maiden rare,
To Chang Le's palace, my heart laid bare,
I'd take her, serve, beyond compare."
Have I truly traversed to the waning era of the Shang Dynasty?
And am I, in fact, the very inept and despotic Emperor Di Xin ?
Label me licentious? I shall endure!
Accuse me of an alcohol addict? I shall also endure!
Brand me as a dumb ruler? Absolutely not!
I shall rally the Dragon Clan against calamity, rebel the Heavenly Court, upholding the sovereign authority of the Human Emperor!
I shall replenish the national treasury, fostering education and winning the hearts of the people, restoring the grandeur of Great Shang!
Whether it is the Western Powers, the Heavenly Court, or the Chan Religion,  I shall not yield.
Whether it is the Human race, the Divine race, and the Demonic race, I shall command them all!
For I am Emperor Di Xin of the Humans! The first sage monarch in history!

My Reign as a Fatuous Monarch in the Shang Dynasty

Witnessing this Taoist in such a manner, Li Jing was even more delighted. Both Jinzha and Muzha were disciples under Manjusri Bodhisattva and Samantabhadra, but Nezha, upon his birth, had already summoned the Taiyi Zhenren. It was truly a momentous occasion.


He was about to call Nezha over to formally apprentice to the Taiyi Zhenren. However, he hesitated, considering that Nezha was Di Xin's adopted son. Feeling a bit conflicted, he bowed respectfully to the Taiyi Zhenren and said, "Your humble servant, despite being favored by the Real Person, cannot unilaterally decide on Nezha's matters."


Observing Li Jing's reluctance, the Taiyi Zhenren was momentarily puzzled and instinctively asked, "Why is that?"


"In response, Real Person, Nezha had already been adopted by the Great Commercial Di Xin before his descent. If the Real Person wishes to accept Nezha as a disciple, the consent of Di Xin is required."
