Blade held her ground and watched as Mark and Scott approached.
"Go ahead, try it." Blade smirked. "Try to hit me."
Scott lunged forward first, swinging his sword towards her face. Blade blocked the blow with ease, then turned around and smashed him in the stomach with her shoulder. He stumbled backwards, gasping for breath.
"Are you for real?" He cried, "Are you actually for real?"
He clutched at his chest, where Blade's fist had connected with his gut. She had strength; he'd give her that. But she couldn't last for long against him, talk less of fighting the two of them.
Blade looked over at Mark, who was holding back his anger, trying desperately not to show his frustration. His eyes told her everything she wanted to know. He wanted to get rid of her as soon as possible.
But she knew if she backed down now, they wouldn't leave her alone. There was no guarantee they wouldn't come back later and finish her off.
