"Stronger than before?" Lumos asked.
Allen shrugged. "A little. My arms hurt, though."
"Keep practicing."
He lowered the bar down and took hold of it again. He lifted it up and then dropped it behind himself. He repeated the process over and over again, moving the weights between his legs, then lifting them up.

He moved through the same routine, but this time he focused more on the speed and strength of his movements. After about twenty minutes of that, he noticed Lumos watching him intently.
"Is something wrong?"
"Nothing's wrong. You're just improving quickly."
"Thanks," Allen said, smiling.
Lumos didn't reply.
Allen tried to lift the bar faster so that he would beat Lumos' record.
"You're getting close," Lumos said.
