He approached the warehouse, his movements silent as he weaved through the shadows. The guards patrolled the outer perimeter, but they didn't notice him. Lux was too good at staying hidden.

You sure you want to do this alone? Hunter asked, his voice thick with mock concern. I mean, we've been in tighter spots before. Why not call Chloe? She's great at the whole 'telekinesis thing.'

Lux gritted his teeth. Not this time.

He reached the warehouse door, a simple lock keeping him out. Lux smirked. With a burst of energy, he sent a jolt of electricity into the lock, frying the mechanism. The door swung open with a soft creak.

Good job, partner. Hunter's voice oozed with sarcasm.

Lux stepped inside, scanning the interior. Rows of crates, machines, and what looked like storage for prototypes. His eyes narrowed. There was something off about this place.
