"Come the fuck with us," Abel yells as he leans out the side of his dad's truck. "We're going to have dinner at Dad's. We haven't had family dinner in a bit, and I think you need it."
Shit, I do not feel like this, but it's going to be hard to get away from. They're right, we haven't hung out at dinner in a while, not just the group of us.
"Is it really family dinner if the girls aren't with us?" I question. "Why are you trying to guilt me into this?"
"Because you've been an asshole lately, and we need to know why your fucking wife is here," Boone says from the driver's seat. "So, come on, I have a little something to tell y'all, and I would like for everyone to be at a family dinner, even if the girls aren't there."
Boone never asks us for anything, and I'm starting to cave.
"We had family dinner before the ladies. We can have it without them once," Barrett argues.
