A tightening noose

Feng Xi carefully placed her neatly folded clothes inside the cupboard. She turned to Yu Han, who was sitting on her bed. "Yu Han, you should open your suitcase and start unpacking," she instructed in a firm voice.

Yu Han sighed deeply and flopped down on the small bed, sprawling across it as if to test its limits. "I'm so tired," he groaned, rubbing his eyes. He looked around the cozy room, then back at the bed with a skeptical expression. "Do you really think we can both fit on this bed comfortably? It's so small. Why do you have such a tiny bed?" he questioned, a hint of frustration in his voice.

Feng Xi turned around to face him in a mild annoyance. "Stop complaining, Yu Han," she said, crossing her arms. "I like small beds. They make me feel cozier and more secure. Besides, I don't need a lot of space to sleep." She paused, considering him for a moment. "If the bed is such a problem for you, why don't you sleep in the guest room?"
