Chapter 41

Cullen stood before Amelia's door. Uncertainty etched across his features, as he pondered whether knocking to go in or if he should just leave.

Concluding, he tapped lightly on the door. He knocked once more, and when she did not reply, he twisted the door knob and politely walked in.

Amelia, who had been so irritated to see her mother's name on her phone as a caller, raised her phone from her phone. The blank expression on her face turned surprised. She immediately raised the jacket over her shoulder, putting it on to hide her bruises. The ugly bruises on her body were haunting.

Arranging her bang properly to rest on her forehead, she muttered lowly, "You're here,"

Cullen said nothing, he just shrugged his shoulders and locked their gaze. He approached her with a small white bag and passed it over to her.

Amelia's long lashes fluttered, "What's this?"
