Chapter 89

Amelia shook her head in disappointment. "You never mentioned you'd be as controlling as he was," her voice almost broke down.

She was fine with anything. She would accept anything but when he asked her to change what she wore, it left her dumbfounded as she recalled back dark memories from Daniel.

A vein pulsed in Cullen's temple. Her words left him stunned. When she compared him to Daniel, he felt irritated. It gave him the kind of feeling that he was being compared to his father.

That feeling almost weakened him.

Cullen walked down the staircase and sat on one of the couches in the living room. Dropping his mug on the table, he said, "That's not it. I just don't want other men gawking at you. Neither_"

"Other men? That's my husband_"

Cullen smirked slowly and cut her off, "Say one more fucking word about Daniel being your husband and I swear to do more than I am doing to him. I'm sure you follow his company's daily news. Do you?"
