Chapter 104

"Your baby made the right choice," Cullen muttered under his breath.

Amelia stiffened, "What?"

"Your baby made the right choice," Cullen repeated himself, "I should have also done that. If I had, my mother would have been perfectly fine and never disowned."

Amelia raised a brow at Cullen's logic. She pulled away from him and created a distance between them.

"Your thinking is so flawed, Cullen. And I think that's why you still live in guilt," she judged in disbelief and walked away from him.

Cullen felt a heavy pang in his heart hearing her words. His heart shattered in pain and he tried his best to breathe properly.

He roughly stood up from the counter chair and followed her into the living room. There, he found her seated and starting far at a distance in deep thought.

Her expression looked sober and paled. Deep anguish covered her face. Cullen rebuked himself and regretted not keeping shut.
