"Wanqing's bus had just left C City when it came to a halt, startling her—Was this place called Taiping really so close to C City? She had been living here for over two years, and though she'd heard of most of the surrounding towns, how had she never heard of this easily remembered "Taiping"?

After a while, she overheard others on the bus say there was a traffic jam. She let out a sigh in relief and asked: "How long till we arrive?"

"Without traffic, it would take five to six hours. With this traffic, I have no idea how much longer. I'm afraid we won't arrive till dark."

Whether it was day or night didn't matter. Any place that took five to six hours to reach normally was far away from C City. Wanqing felt somewhat relieved.
