Ivana nodded repeatedly, "Alright, alright, definitely."

Ming Mei handed her the small-caliber assault rifle to hold. It was too heavy for Ming Mei alone.

Ming Mei took a deep breath and said, "Now, let's go."

With bare feet on the cold floor, they headed out, not knowing what awaited them.

Either a glimmer of hope or walking straight into the tiger's den.

Ming Mei carefully observed the movements outside the toilet door before ensuring that no one was around.

Ivana asked Ming Mei in a low voice, "Do we go up, or do we go down?"

"Up... no, we go down." Ming Mei had initially thought of going up, but ultimately decided on heading downwards.

"Why? They're all downstairs, aren't they?"

"Exactly because they are downstairs, we should go down."
