Mr. Diers thought that Xu Siyu had gone home, so he went there only to discover that she was not at home.
Leaving the Xu family, Mr. Diers stared at his phone gloomily, still at a loss as to where he had gone wrong.
Wouldn't anyone be jealous?
The woman he loved was chatting happily with another man, but he was a man!
Why was it even a problem for him to be angry?
While in the car, Mr. Diers called Xu Siyu several times.
No one answered, leaving Mr. Diers almost pale with anger. He gripped his phone, wishing he could throw it out to vent, but reason won over impulse. He couldn't throw it away now, it was too late to buy a new one to continue calling Xu Siyu.
Taking a deep breath, Mr. Diers patiently redialed.
Finally, Xu Siyu answered.
"Where are you?"
"At a friend's house."
"I'll come get you."
"No need," Xu Siyu answered faintly.
"Why?" Mr. Diers asked incredulously.
