Chapter 33: Finding the Path (Part 1)

"No way can they pass the first trial!" The boy replied. He is still playing with his puppet. "They clearly won't make it, I only spoke through them for a moment and that was enough for them to separate. I wonder how that woman made it out of my strings, though..."

With a soft shrug, the girl walked into the brush and turned back to the boy, "Who knows, maybe their love is stronger than you know." The girl walked further away.

With a start, the boy ran after the girl in the white dress, disappearing into the Forest.

The sound of twigs snapping and tiny feet could echo through the Forest as two rabbits began racing into their depths.

One obsidian and one pure white.

When the morning came, Elara saw Aiden still holding her. His cloak was thrown over her shoulders to keep the cool air from her as the fire lay in embers. She looked at Aiden's sleeping form. His eyes closed with a sense of calm, and his breathing was regular.
