Care for tea?

As Elara faced Agatha, the question hung in the air, waiting for an answer. Agatha took a long breath as if trying to steady herself before speaking.

"Do you remember the woodsman, Gideon?" Agatha began.

"Of course, I remember him. I think that he used to be a regular here, always looking for something to cure his headache." Elara reacted, confused by the question. "Honestly, I hadn't seen him before I left for the woods."

"He went to the edge of the Whispering Woods while you were away. For three days, you were gone, child. I couldn't believe it myself since. You prefer to stay out of your house for less than a day. He went to the woods and saw you standing there, but it wasn't you. He said it looked like you were taken over by the dark Fey of the woods."

Agatha seemed very upset as she told the story. Her sadness leaked through every word as if recounting a horrifying tale.

Elara nodded in understanding, knowing fully who was behind this.
