Home at Last

Elara left Miss Agatha's shop, and the soft smell of tea filled Elara's nose. The smooth notes of rose petals and Akua root mixed together gave her a better sense of self as she wanted to address the rumors that were going on.

The last thing she wanted was for everyone in town to think she was some sort of specter or perhaps a wraith who died horribly in the woods.

Elara thought. What would Aiden say to all this if he were here with me? For some reason, the streets of Rivervale seem very empty today.

Walking through the streets, many shops are closed for the door. Walking by the church, it looks like Father Thomas isn't in. She wanted to thank him for the magical treasure that he gave her. Though she didn't need it for the trip into the woods, she hoped she could return it.

She traveled further through the town and found the small school close to the town square's periphery. All the kids would go there to learn the basics of reading and writing.
