After marriage—
On Valentine's Day, Han Jingnian asked, "How are we spending today?"

After hanging up the phone with Xie Lin, Xia Wan'an first called for a car, then went into her bedroom, changed into a more casual outfit, and headed downstairs.


She stepped out of the elevator and waited for less than two minutes before the car arrived. The midday traffic was smooth; in less than half an hour, Xia Wan'an reached Xie Lin's hospital. 


The on-duty nurse today was the one previously reduced to tears by Han Jingnian's harsh words. But since it only took Xia Wan'an one sentence to make Jingnian apologize to the young nurse, the nurse looked at Xia Wan'an with both warmth and admiration: "Miss Xia, what brings you here?"


Xia Wan'an returned the smile, her voice warm and soft, "I'm looking for Dr. Xie."


"Oh, Dr. Xie is in his office. Let me take you there…"


The young nurse led Xia Wan'an to the front of Xie Lin's office door. She knocked, and once he invited them to enter, the nurse promptly opened the door, "Dr. Xie, Miss Xia is here."
