The Field Mouse said, "Things have calmed down on my side. My dad spent some money and everything is mostly settled. But Yan Xiaoyi is leading a group of people to hunt you down. He said that he will beat you up every time he sees you until you can't take care of yourself. Boss, you better hide for a while longer. That kid seems to be preparing for college these days. With his dad's connections, he should be able to get into a prestigious university with no problem. You can come back after he starts college. You should be fine then."

Qi Yue snorted and said, "Looks like the lesson I gave him wasn't enough. I'll teach him a hard lesson when I get back. A barefoot man has nothing to lose. Should I be afraid of him? I'll head back today."

"What? You're coming back today?" Field Mouse said anxiously, "But…"

Qi Yue said: "Okay, okay. There's nothing to worry about. We'll talk when I get back. Don't worry, even if I can't beat him, I won't hide."

Field Mouse forced a smile and said, "Alright, boss. I'll welcome you back when you return. Sigh, I'm afraid we brothers won't have much time to gather in the future. My dad is so furious about this incident that he's already arranging for me to go to a new school. I heard it's a private high school. I might be reporting to the school by August."

Qi Yue was taken aback. He couldn't help but feel a sense of loss. Over the years, he had followed many bosses and had many underlings, but Field Mouse was the only one he considered a brother. "No worries, you aren't leaving the Capital City anyway. We brothers will have plenty of time to hang out together. Going to school is a good thing. Don't follow my path. Your family is well-off and I believe you'll not end up as a failure. Alright, I need to hang up now."

Hearing the busy tone from the phone, the chubby-faced Field Mouse couldn't help but smile bitterly. He looked at the pile of models on his desk and shook his head helplessly. He decided to focus on assembling the models. Though his hands were thick, they were extraordinarily nimble when assembling the models.

Just as Qi Yue was about to return the phone to Ji Mingming, he saw her wiping her hand with a disinfecting wipe where he had touched earlier. Perhaps the message from Field Mouse had slightly upset him, so this time he did not try to take advantage of the situation. He simply placed the phone next to Ji Mingming and sat quietly without talking.

Not until he was on the plane did Qi Yue's mood recover due to the novelty in front of him. The Holy Buddha Temple indeed holds a supreme status in Tibet. They didn't need to buy their tickets, and they were even given first-class seats. The spacious seats put some distance between Qi Yue and Ji Mingming. However, Qi Yue had now changed his focus. The stewardesses in the first-class cabin were all at least Desire Level beauties. He leisurely enjoyed the feast for the eyes. The stewardesses provided exceptional services. Although they felt the peculiar gaze from this passenger, they could only serve with smiles.

With a thunderous roar, the plane finally took off. The sudden strong push-back sensation startled Qi Yue. He nervously held on to his seatbelt, his face turning pale. At this moment, he suddenly realized a very important thing - he had a severe fear of heights.

Ji Mingming's state of mind had also changed. When Qi Yue was staring at her earlier, she felt unspeakably disgusted. But now, as Qi Yue was paying attention to the stewardesses, she felt somewhat neglected. After all, for a beauty, being ignored is far more uncomfortable than being in the spotlight. It's like when a man and a woman accidentally spend the night together in a room. If the man tries something disrespectful, the woman might curse him as a beast. But if the man doesn't make a move, she would probably insult him as worse than a beast. Therefore, when Qi Yue's eyes were no longer on Ji Mingming, her eyes fell more on him.

If one put aside the subjective impression of Qi Yue, he wasn't exactly bad-looking. Although he wasn't handsomely attractive, his appearance wasn't revolting either. With a tall stature and a mischievous smile to boot, he did have some charming factors. As the plane started, just as Ji Mingming prepared to stop looking at him and catch some sleep, she suddenly noticed a drastic change in Qi Yue's complexion. He was tightly gripping the seatbelt and seemed terrified, his fear clearly not feigned. As the plane began to tilt and ascend, his situation grew more apparent. Large drops of sweat fell from his forehead, and his body even began to tremble.

A flight attendant noticed Qi Yue's state and hurried over to him, asking softly, "Sir, is everything alright? Are you feeling unwell anywhere?"

In front of the beautiful woman, Qi Yue managed to squeeze out a weak smile, "Nothing much, I'm just a bit afraid of heights. I should be alright soon." He put up a front, but internally he was concerned about what would happen if the plane flying so high were to fall. As he pondered, his fear intensified, a sentiment that probably all those tormented by acrophobia can relate to.

Ji Mingming clearly heard Qi Yue's words and almost laughed. She was surprised that the guy who often had a smirk on his face would have acrophobia. Seeing his frightened expression brought her a small thrill. But, after all, she was one of the Zodiac Guardians, and her inherent kindness stirred a moment of empathy within her. Undoing her seatbelt, she walked towards Qi Yue.

"Miss, could you please sit down? We are ascending, it's rather dangerous right now," a flight attendant reminded cautiously.

Ji Mingming smiled, "It's alright. My friend is feeling a bit unwell. Just checking on him." She took the seat next to Qi Yue. The seats in first-class were spacious, there wouldn't be a problem accommodating two people. Initially, there was another first-class seat next to Qi Yue, but she had chosen to sit elsewhere to avoid further harassment from him. After all, there weren't many passengers in first-class, and most of the seats were vacant anyway, so the flight attendants didn't bother about her.

Seeing Ji Mingming made Qi Yue feels like a drowning man catching sight of a floating log. Without any hesitation, he grabbed her waist. His motion was exceptionally fast, catching Ji Mingming off guard. By the time she realized what was happening, she had been tightly embraced by a pair of trembling, warm arms.

"You..." Stunned, Ji Mingming experienced a tumultuous mix of embarrassment and irritation. Just as she was about to break free, Qi Yue spoke, "Mingming, let me hold you. I'm feeling terrible."

An unprecedented sensation surged within Ji Mingming. Since her youth, she had never been embraced by a non-relative man. A strong masculine scent immediately filled her senses. Qi Yue exuded an unusual energy fluctuation that felt oddly familiar and comforting to Ji Mingming. Though she knew it wasn't appropriate, she didn't push Qi Yue away.

The warm energy fluctuation grew stronger, as if a scorching sensation was infiltrating Ji Mingming's body. Under the influence of the energy fluctuation, her "Rising Cloud" technique reached a boiling point. After holding on to her, Qi Yue's trembling ceased, and his breathing significantly stabilized. However, he kept his eyes closed while maintaining his pale complexion.

Ji Mingming's Rising Cloud technique had already reached the "Three Clouds" stage but encountered a significant bottleneck. Once she overcame it, her strength would dramatically increase. However, breaking through this bottleneck seemed virtually impossible, partly explaining why Zagru advised her to team up with Qi Yue. To surpass the cultivation bottleneck requires more than hard work; comprehension and luck play crucial roles. Currently, Ji Mingming could distinctly sense a slight loosening of the bottleneck hindering her rise.

Zagru had once told Ji Mingming about how Kylin, the Zodiac Guardian, could massively benefit the Guardians. Surprisingly, just the physical contact, and given that Qi Yue had just awoken with a palpable energy within him, played such a significant part in her breakthrough which further solidified her focus. Henceforth, whether it was from wanting to comfort Qi Yue's acrophobia or to focus on breaking through her bottleneck, she couldn't leave Qi Yue's embrace.
