Chapter 18 Mystery of Kylin Arm (Part 2) _1

Sorry for the delay with Chapter 3.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

University courses aren't as rigid as high school's, nor as rigorous. Teachers teach earnestly, whether the students learn or not is largely left up to them. After all, if you don't study properly, it's impossible to earn enough credits to graduate. In prestigious universities like Qingbei, the overall quality of students is very high, and the teachers are also more meticulous compared to other universities.

Class began, the first twenty minutes were no different than usual. The teacher surnamed Li was teaching his classical philosophy class with his usual stern voice. However, an incongruous noise suddenly appeared in the classroom just as the twentieth minute passed.

"Hmm—puff—, hmm—puff—." A loud snoring sound, paired with sudden exhales, came from the back of the class. All the students halted for a moment, then the classroom burst into laughter. After all, Qi Yue's snoring skills were top tier. His variation in pitch and volume were extraordinarily unique, especially the finishing exhale, absolutely first-rate.

Teacher Li's stern face immediately darkened. He hadn't encountered such a situation in many years; being laughed at by his students was something no teacher could tolerate. Without any hesitation, he threw his eraser.

True to his surname Li, Teacher Li had honorably inherited Xiao Li's Flying Dagger's traditional skills. Now he was not alone, in this moment, the spirit of Xiao Li's Flying Dagger took over, its accuracy sent the eraser whistling through the air, tracing a wonderful parabola, speeding straight towards the source of the snores.

Thump. With impeccable accuracy, not too much nor too little, the eraser smacked Qi Yue right on the head.

"Fuck, damn XXX, who the hell is looking for death." Almost subconsciously, Qi Yue angrily sprung up.

Obviously, anyone would be upset if their blissful sleep was disturbed, let alone Qi Yue who hated being interrupted while he slept. His defiant nature instantly kicked in. Once he stood up, he slowly came to his senses, blankly stared back at the other students' stunned eyes as well as the trembling Teacher Li before remembering he was in class.

"You, you, you..." The teacher was so angry he was at a loss for words.

Qi Yue scratched his aching head, awkwardly said, "Er, teacher, I wasn't cursing you. Pretend it was a fart."

Seeing Qi Yue's not a care in the world demeanor, Teacher Li quivered all over. As a well-known professor in Qingbei University's Philosophy department, this was the first time he was verbally abused so vociferously in class. "Get out, stand in the hall until class ends! I'll deal with you at the administrative office later."

Qi Yue shrugged, picked up his books and left without any regrets. He didn't bother defending himself, after all, he was wrong for falling asleep in class and cursing at the teacher. He did have at least some respect for his teachers. Just as he was exiting the classroom, he vaguely heard Teacher Li grumble, "A total disgrace, such a disgrace actually got into Qingbei, people who curse so casually should..."

Any feelings of guilt disappeared immediately after hearing this. A cold light flashed in his eyes as he slammed the classroom door shut behind him. With his back against the corrior wall, disgrace, trash, huh, I might be society's trash, but this teacher's character doesn't seem to be that much higher than mine.

Thinking of this, Qi Yue sneered, leaning against the corridor wall, he resumed his sweet dream. Qi Yue's sleeping skills were quite impressive, although he could not sleep while walking, he did master the art of sleeping while standing since middle school.

He was not sure how much time had passed when he suddenly felt someone pat his shoulder and was startled awake. About to curse, he remembered that it could be that teacher, and swallowed his words, slowly opening his eyes.

Unexpectedly, it was not the teacher who had hit him with the eraser earlier, but a gorgeous and familiar face. Standing before Qi Yue, was the beauty he had bumped into upon first entering Qingbei campus, the one whose book he had purposely knocked down, he hadn't expected that they would meet again here.

The girl's gaze fell on Qi Yue's shoulder as she covered her mouth and chuckled lightly, "You really can sleep, huh! Why are you standing here?"

Qi Yue followed the girl's gaze to his own shoulder and was immediately a little embarrassed because there were obvious traces of drool. Clearly, it was left when he had fallen asleep earlier with his head tilted. He shrugged helplessly and said, "I was kicked out by the teacher. What else can I do besides sleep? Are you also from the philosophy department, senior? Why aren't you in class?"

The girl smiled faintly and emitted a refined aura that made Qi Yue's eyes wander, "I am not from the philosophy department, this teaching building has a foreign language department as well. Don't you know that?"

"I really didn't know, I only started school yesterday. Qingbei is quite big, I think it will take some time to figure it out."

The girl said, "Then how did you end up standing out here for punishment? Today should be Teacher Li's class, right?"

Qi Yue snorted and said: "Actually it's nothing, I just fell asleep during class. He even said he would take me to the student affairs office for disciplinary action."

The girl laughed and said, "You! Qingbei is one of the best schools in the Yan Huang Republic, you should pay attention in class, it's not the time to sleep."

Unbeknownst to him, listening to the girl warmed Qi Yue's heart. He nodded subconsciously. The girl in front of him was dressed in a refreshing style, her long hair in a ponytail, loose top, and blue jeans, all giving off a comfortable vibe. Her face was devoid of any makeup, yet she brimmed with youthfulness, her elegance fascinating. What attracted Qi Yue the most were her round and slender legs wrapped in those jeans. They weren't as exaggerated as those of Mo Di, but harmonious and beautifully curved. Unfortunately, her loose top hid her derriere.

He awkwardly rubbed his nose and said, "It wasn't on purpose. I just didn't get a good sleep last night and ended up falling asleep before class. It's our second meeting now, senior. Can you tell me your name?"

The girl pretended to think for a moment and, with a smile, she said, "Alright, my name is Wen Wei, and you?"

"I'm Qi Yue, a freshman in the philosophy department. I just enrolled yesterday, thanks for telling me where the student affairs office is, this campus is really huge." Qi Yue secretly rejoiced. The girl in front of him named Wen Wei was just the kind he liked, gentle and cheerful, and also incredibly beautiful. Comparing looks, among the women he had met so far at Qingbei University, only Ming Ming could compete with her. At this thought, Qi Yue couldn't help but think of Hai Ruyue. If it weren't for her bad temperament, Hai Ruyue would perhaps trump Ming Ming and Wen Wei in both looks and figure.

Wen Wei's elegance and gentleness made Qi Yue's heart rate accelerate. As he looked at her without realizing his entranced expression, he didn't notice the faint cold gleam in the gentle eyes of Wen Wei.

"I have to go now, class is about to end soon. You must admit your mistakes to the teacher proactively and don't repeat it again."

At this moment, someone was approaching them from the corridor of the building, to be precise, walking towards Qi Yue's classroom.

"Eh, Boss, why are you here?" The person who came was none other than Yan Xiaoyi.

Qi Yue was taken aback, "I'm a philosophy student, where else should I be if not here? Don't tell me you're also in the philosophy department."

Yan Xiaoyi helplessly shrugged and said, "Am I not also a philosophy student?" Although he was speaking to Qi Yue, his eyes fell on Wen Wei, and instantly lit up, "Hello, Teacher Wen, are you going to class?"

"Teacher Wen?" Qi Yue was stunned as his gaze fell on Wen Wei.
