Zodiac Guardian

Xuanwu, known for its superior defense amongst water giants, still couldn't match the speed of the Deep Sea Serpent. Although Dragon River had cultivated himself into a humanoid form, even his full-speed swimming couldn't leave the Deep Sea Serpent behind.


Once they dove into Qinghe, the energy of the Deep Sea Serpent protected Qi Yue and his companions as if they were in a submarine. The water and its inhabitants were held at bay by a light shield. Sunlight permeated the clear river water, creating an array of dazzling refractions, a spectacle unparalleled on land.


Clearly excited, the Deep Sea Serpent undulated its massive body in the river in tune with Dragon River. Each undulation sent ripples shattering across the water's surface.
