Red and blue lights flashed almost simultaneously, filling the grand hall with a sharp aura. Two beams of light, utterly opposed in their icy cold and fiery heat, shot out from Mage Nian Bing's body to either side, tracing an arc through the air and bypassing the Ice-Snow Goddess Sacrifice before striking like lightning in front of the two Ice Elemental Sorcerers.


The two Sorcerers reacted quickly, instantaneously casting ice shields to block the incoming lights. Being Mages themselves, they naturally assumed that this sudden attack would not be effective, and thus, they did not take Nian Bing seriously; however, they were mistaken.
