Ji Changsheng expressed his understanding, "Uncle, rest assured, I won't make things difficult for you. Regarding Maitreya, I will tell Him to cooperate with Tathagata, and the same goes for Bodhisattva Guanyin. Buddhism will maintain superficial peace, and to help my teacher return, I will also help Tathagata strengthen Buddhism. If Tathagata can seize the opportunity and become a Saint before we successfully hand over Buddhism to the Heavenly Dao as a sacrifice, then that is His creation."
Ji Changsheng did not hide the fact that he would eventually use Buddhism to repay the "Heavenly Path Debt" to the Two Saints of the West.
After all, the Heaven Connecting Sect Hierarch already knew this and it would be truly insulting to underestimate Uncle's intelligence.
Honest hearts responding to one another is more appropriate.
