As a divine witch possessing the rarest of powers, Avalon was fated to bring about doom. Her clan was cursed with the task of saving a crown prince who happened to be half Lycan and half wizard being that his mother was a true blooded witch and his father, a Lycan.

But there was an unfortunate prophecy foretold that, "if she ever utilizes her powers, you will all fall, one by friend, one by foe, and one by family."

Because of this prophecy, Avalon has been in a tumultuous state from childhood.

On a journey back after attending his mother's funeral, Ares chanced upon Avalon in the dense forest and came to realize that she was his destined mate.

"I agree." I close myself off inside the spare

bedroom. "I'm with Avalon at Amelia's right now, but I'll wrap this up sooner than planned. Go on to eastern border ahead of me and I'll meet you there by early evening tomorrow. But don't do anything."

"Don't do anything?" he asks suspiciously. "If I find her, I can at least detain her and start the interrogation. I may not be a warlock or a wizard or a warewolf. But you know how strong warelions are don't you?"
