CHAPTER 2

The underground tunnel had led Aliyah outside the boarders of the pack. When she looked around, Aliayh was in total disbelief at the sight before her.

The once ever loving, happy pack filled with so much excitement was in total ruin.

Aliyah noticed the rogues were coming and she took to her heels.

Stacy, Aliyah's wolf was fighting to take control, but Aliyah was not willing to allow it happen.

Stacy was stronger and may eventually remain on the surface if allowed outside, thus she needed to run in her human form.

Aliyah was determined to get away from there, she was determined to have her revenge on the Crimson Rogues. She was certain that even if it would take years, she would get the revenge she had so desired on them.

The sun was at its peak, when she got to a stream. Aliyah was tired from the runs and her burning throat needed to be quenched with water. She knew the rogues were far behind, as she had ensured to cover her hidden tracks away from them.

Aliyah went down by the river side, consuming a whole content of the water by the river side. A new burst of energy rocked her entire body, once she was full.

The trees had grapes and they were edible. Aliyah picked some of the grapes and sat down by the riverside to take a bite off it.

Aliyah could remember the days her father would take her on a journey across the boaders, while going to attend some of the meetings with the Alphas. She loved meeting new people and many of the persons she had met were open hearted and loved her.

Aliyah stared down at the wrapped object her mom had given to her, before she was killed. Aliyah began to do away with the pieces of papers and eventually her eyes caught a shinning object. It was a pendant that had Aliyah's name crested at the top.

Tears ran down her eyes, as she reminsiced over the memories her parents had shared with her since she was birthed. They had spent a whole lot of fortune giving Aliyah a memorable gift and she was never going to trade it for anything else. Aliyah placed it across her neck and she could tell that it looked absolutely beautiful.

Suddenly, Aliyah's ears perked up the snap across the branches. Her claws were out and even though she was the daughter of an Alpha, Aliyah had little or less experience in combat.

The trees eventually gave way for three persons, whom Aliyah believed were not rogues. They stared down at her with a look of recognition on their face.

"Aren't you the daughter of Alpha Fiala of the water wave pack?" She wasn't surprised that they were able to detect her identity. Aliyah's father was rather well known across several packs.

"Yes." They both stared at themselves in disbelief, almost as though they were staring at a living miracle before them.

"The news about the invasion of Crimson Rogues into your pack, has spread like a wild fire. So many people believed everyone was dead. Anyways, enough of the talking. We need to get you out of here before the rogues find your hideout." For a moment Aliyah hesitated, wondering if she could trust them.

"You don't have a thing to worry. I am Zica and this Banki, we are patrol soldiers of the Red Moon Pack. We have only come here to grab strawberries. Walking past the rivers, you would have stepped feet into our bothers." Aliyah followed the direction of Zica's hand, which was pointed at the direction of the trees beyond the river.

She didn't need to think any longer about it, she followed them past the rivers. The moment they made it past the trees, she saw the landscape of the red moon pack. It was certainly a beautiful place.

The pack had a strong defense mechanism; giant gates which had the statue of a strange face inscribed within it.

"That is our Alpha; Alpha Mamoa." Zica revealed, noticing Aliyah's curiosity.

Once the gates were opened, some of the pack soldiers who laid eyes on her had a hint of recognition, followed with a look of disbelief. It was almost as though they could not believe she was alive.

They arrived at a large building, whose exterior designs were made out of red bricks. The walls had several words inscribed and even though she couldn't make out their meanings, she knew they had historical importance.

Upon stepping foot into the mansion, they walked across the long hallway. On each side of the hallway was a frame and Aliyah believed it was frames of the former Alphas.

Two pack soldiers guarded a door when they arrived, and after Zica seemed to have communicated to them, they stepped aside, pushing the door open.

When she stepped into the chamber, Aliyah was embraced by warmth. The entire place had several arts imprinted and the sent of rose filled her nostrils.

The door behind the throne opened up and a rather much young looking man, all dressed up in a glorious robe stepped out.

"Alpha!" The pack soldiers bowed in courtesy.

"Alpha Fiala's daughter, it is such a great pleasure to have you in our pack." He got up from the throne and stepped down to approach Aliyah.

"You took your father's traits and qualities." He had so much confidence in himself, judging from the manner he talked and moved.

"I have to admit that the news of the Crimson Rogue invasion, shook our pack and I have to say I am sorry for your loss." Aliyah sighed, thinking of what everyone would think about the extinction of a great pack.

"My pack would give you shelter, food and a place to stay for the night, but we cannot keep you here." Aliyah stared in disbelief.

"I am sorry. The Crimson Rogues are hungry savages. If they find out you are here, they would raid this pack and kill everyone just to get to you. I hope you understand." From the inference of his words, Aliyah finally understood that the rogues meant to kill every member of the water wave pack.

"I beg to take my leave now, I have some really important meetings. Zica would direct you to a room in the mansion." She thanked him, as he returned back to the throne, seating down gracefully.

Aliyah could feel the Alpha's eyes on her back, as Zica ushered her out of the room.
