Flight

The following day.

[Orion] "Sir it is morning." Orion notified Wesley while he was sitting in a meditative seating within the Minerva simulation.

"Thank you, Orion." Without wasting any time Wesley logged out of the simulation and pulled off his VR headset. Currently, he could work within the Minerva simulation while his body got rest at night. One change he noticed was that after the system evolution, his body did not ache anymore in the morning, and all of his senses increased in some way shape, or form. After getting up Wesley decided he needed to clear his head and went on a run. Thus his security team followed him out of the apartment and a few others from the warehouse arrived by car to monitor him on the run.

'How in the fuck is he running that fast….. I could not even keep up with him at this pace.' thought one of the security guards watching as Wesley was currently running at a speed at which most olympic athletes train for their entire lives. Yet he was doing this in a relaxed manner, almost as if it was as natural as breathing. 'Poor bastards behind him, we had to go and pick up our other guards because they couldn't keep up haha.' another guard thought as he was in a state of shock from the sight before him.

After going on a run for about an hour Wesley made his way back to the apartment and found Ashlin in the living room relaxing. "Yo" Wesley said with a smile on his face. As he wipes the sweat from his head with his shirt.

"JESUS" Ashlin said in a loud shock.

"AHH, what the fuck! Why did you shout so loud?!" Wesley replied back, startled by her sudden shout.

"Uhhhh, when in the hell did you get abs like that? You don't even eat as healthy as I do.. What the fuck!" Ashlin said in a jealous tone. Ashlin has been extremely disciplined within the realms of healthy dieting, and weight lifting, earning a physique most people would dream of having. However, compared to Wesley's current abs, hers cannot even compete.

"Haha my bad, I have been doing some training while at the warehouse." Wesley lying through his teeth at the moment. He had completely forgotten about his changed physique and since he never really changed his living style it would definitely raise questions. It is not that he did not trust Ashlin enough to tell her, but the weight that she would have to bear upon learning such information could put her in harm's way, or she simply wouldn't believe him.

"Uh huh, okay I guess that makes some sense. Either way, it is impressive. That shit is sharper than a cheese grater" Ashlin blurted out in jealousy and in a humorous tone.

"HAHAHA, looks like we won't be needing new knives for the kitchen then." Wesley said with a cheeky smirk on his face.

"You never change haha." Ashlin rolled her eyes in response to his arrogance.

"Anyways, I was wondering if you were busy later today?" Wesley asked.

"No, why?" She replied.

"I bought an Island yesterday and the final paperwork is getting finished this morning, but I was going to fly out later today to go and visit it. You want to join? Kohen and my Family are coming?"

"YOU BOUGHT AN ISLAND?!" Ashlin twisted her body from the couch looking at Wesley with her mouth agape.

"What in the Tony Stark is happening right now." As Ashlin pulled her hair back in shock from such drastic developments.

'Can I catch just a little break, haha' Ashlin thought to herself.

"Yeah, no biggie, I have plenty of money. Plus this way it is a lot more secure from this apartment. Quite frankly it can be dangerous living here while having access to such wealth. There is a reason why most wealthy people live in seclusion." Wesley replied to Ashlins' shock.

Thus Wesley walked to his room, closed the door, and sat down at his desk. "Orion call Keaton."

"Yo Keaton, are you busy?" Wesley asked.

"No, what's up?" Keaton responded curiously.

"I am going to be taking the family, Ashlin and your brother with me to an Island I just bought. It has an airstrip, but I need a plane and a pilot. I am going to be taking care of the plane issue now, but I was wondering if you could be my personal pilot?"

"Um sure, I just finished getting all my licenses. However… Did you really buy an Island?" Keaton asked not knowing what to believe.

"Haaa yeah, I needed it for my future plans, it's been shocking everybody recently. I will send you the details of the type of plane shortly, and the location of the Island as well." Wesley said quickly before hanging up and focusing on getting a plane before the flight this afternoon.

"Orion purchase a large-sized jet for personal use right now. We can always make our own in the future."

[Orion] "Yes sir", doing so, Orion scanned the web and found the perfect fit for Wesley's needs, It was a Gulfstream 650ER that has a custom white and marble interior with seating up to 16 passengers. The price was around 55,000,000 dollars, but this price would no longer cause Wesley to even flinch.

[Orion] "It is purchased sir, currently it is in California, but it will arrive shortly before you plan to leave for the Island and will be refueled before your arrival."

"Thank you Orion, you have been a great help!" Wesley stated with genuine satisfaction. Orion has proved to be more than amazing time and time again. Realizing the responsibilities Orion helps him with.

Orion hearing this, while not having a physical body, internally smiled at this response. Glad that he can help his creator in his goals, whether his everyday tasks or his future aspirations.

A few hours later, Wesley, alongside Ashlin and his security team, headed towards the private Airport to meet his parents, Kohen and Keaton. Once onsite he went over to his parents giving them a hug before continuing to the jet. The exterior of the jet was 2 different colors, the main underbelly and wings were a glossy black, while the upper part of the plane where the nose of the plane, leading to the back was a grey-ish hue. There were golden accents on the wings that added a sense of class to the jet before them. Everyone alike was in awe of the jet, further appreciating the new luxuries of life. Upon entering the jet, Keaton was already in the pilot's seat, adjusting the controls and getting the systems ready to start their journey. While Keaton was setting up, Wesley alongside Kohen and his dad sat on the couches engaging in various discussions of Ra solutions. In comparison, his mother and Ashlin decided to relax in the reclined leather seats to enjoy the flight.

After everyone was situated, Keaton with a grin on his face grabbed the mic within the cockpit and said over the mic, "Alright ladies and gentlemen, it looks like we have clear skies today and we will be arriving at the Island in around 4 and half hours. Please enjoy the flight." After his speech, Wesley looked down the plane and said Keaton grinning with his smug smile, in content for using the mic. 'He never changes, haha' Wesley thought, having a smile on his face thinking of the cheeky actions he and his friends have done over their friendship together.

Then the plane started to move and made its way to the runway. Upon reaching the main airstrip, Keaton waited for the all-clear from the control tower before proceeding. Once getting the all-clear, Keaton pushed the throttle, slowly accelerating the plane. Keaton was having the time of his life upon doing so. Most of the planes he has flown previously have been smaller, older, and never had such exceptional equipment. For example, most altitude indicators Keaton has seen before were usually small, and did not have the best digital display; However, this was not the case in the Gulf Stream. The plane had a state-of-the-art indicator, where the control panel of the plane was a massive screen, with the indicator taking up a quarter of the panel, showing the plane's angle upon the horizon and its altitude. The massive screen control panel allowed for seamless adjustments to be made for the pilot's ease. It allowed for better safety, control, and ease upon piloting the jet. Thus piloting the Gulf Stream was a dream come true for the pilot. The plane took off with ease and gracefulness as it made its way down the airstrip, gaining altitude rather quickly.
