Pardi then went outside to search for a water source to bathe, as in ancient times, bathing required a trip to the nearest river or spring. Only a few privileged nobles could bathe in the palace bathing pool. Pardi found a small river (which was actually an irrigation channel for rice fields) and used it for bathing.
Shortly after, Boris went out for some fresh air. He saw Pardi bathing in the small and muddy irrigation channel. After Pardi finished bathing, Boris greeted him at the entrance.
Boris: "Hey, old man! why did you bathe there?"
Pardi: "I couldn't find a river, so I bathed there."
Boris: "But there's a bathroom inside."
Pardi: "Bathroom? What's that?"
Boris: "Huh? Seriously? Is he from a primitive tribe or something?"
Boris explained and showed Pardi the bathroom inside the house. Pardi was also loaned a hoodie jacket for temporary clothing. It seemed that once again, this primitive man struggled with how to wear the jacket, and Boris had to help him put it on.
"Is this guy from a primitive tribe or the hinterlands? he seems clueless and incapable. He even got scared last night when he saw my glowing car. Well, maybe he's just an outdated shaman like me, hahaha!" thought Ben.
Pardi then went outside to explore the surroundings. When he reached the back of the house, he was surprised to find "Kebogiro," the creature he encountered the previous night. He hid behind the wall, observing the "creature." Unbeknownst to him, Ben was directly below the "creature." Pardi hesitated but, in his heart, wanted to repay the two brothers for saving him the previous night. For that reason, Pardi acted on his own, even though he was scared and reluctant. He dragged Ben away from the "creature."
Ben: "What's happen old man?! I was fixing the car. Why did you suddenly drag me?! That hurts!"
Pardi: "I was saving you from Kebogiro! To prevent it from eating you!"
Ben: "What's Kebogiro?"
Pardi: "You were right underneath it!"
Ben: "That's my car, dude! Not Kebogiro!"
Pardi: "The creature can glow!??.....eeeee..... What is a car anyway? What kind of creature is that?"
Ben: "Well, that's it! That's a car!"
Boris: "What's all this commotion?"
Ben: "This outdated old man thought the car was Kebogiro or something."
Boris: "Oh, this primitive man. That's called a car, sir, not Kebogiro."
Boris and Pardi engaged in a spirited debate about the car and the "Kebogiro" he encountered the previous night. Now everything has become clear. Although the argument was brief, Pardi was convinced and understood that what he encountered the previous night was Boris and Ben's car. Pardi also expressed his dissatisfaction with being called "old man" by Boris and Ben.
Pardi: "Oh yes, can you stop calling me 'old man'?"
Boris: "Why, old man?"
Pardi: "I'm not that old; I'm still young."
Ben: "But isn't you a shaman?"
Boris: "From his clothes, you can tell he's a shaman."
Pardi: "Wearing these clothes doesn't make me a shaman! It's just ordinary clothing nowadays!"
Boris: "Why are you getting mad?! What do you mean?! Basically, you are a shaman! Moreover, nowadays, no one wears clothes like that!"
Pardi then fell silent and walked back into the house.
"Actually, where am I?" Pardi wondered as he returned to the house.
At that moment, Boris and Ben were still around their car outside. Pardi was alone inside the house.
"It's not time for you to know," the woman's voice echoed again, seemingly coming from nowhere.
"Who's there? Who's there? Can this house talk? Or is it a spirit?" panicked Pardi.
"It's not time for you to know. Just follow my instructions," the voice spoke again and fell silent.
"I have to know now!" shouted Pardi.
"Stop being stubborn! Just obey and be quiet!" the voice responded somewhat irritated.
Perhaps it was tired of Pardi becoming more annoying. Whatever the reason, that seemed to be the case.
"Well... 'it' can get angry too," Pardi responded mockingly. After that, no more voices responded to Pardi.
Pardi was genuinely confused about his current situation. Where? And what was happening? These questions kept repeating in Pardi's mind. Encountering a strange object called a car, suddenly being in an unknown place, and people wearing vastly different clothes from what Pardi was used to seeing.
One thing was certain: there was a connection to the woman's voice that only Pardi could hear. Everything seemed orchestrated by that "voice." Pardi's actions appeared to be planned by that mysterious voice.
What happened? What was Pardi experiencing? You will find out after the following messages.
The sun turned into the moon, and the clear sky became a pitch-black darkness without light. Cold air enveloped their bodies, piercing bones. Boris and Ben were planning their next move.
"That old man, what should we do with him? Should we involve him in stealing? After all, he's a thief too."
Immediately, Pardi approached and volunteered. With confidence, he requested to steal alone. Whether it was to repay a favor or for another reason, Pardi had been instructed by the mysterious voice that only he could hear. The three of them then discussed and planned the theft. Unbeknownst to them, the time was already 2:20 AM. They hurried to start their operation.
Boris and Ben, along with their car, were quite far from the village. Pardi was tasked with executing their plan, as it was his request. Pardi headed towards the designated house.
Once there, Pardi was impressed because the houses were grand and multi-storied, resembling buildings in a kingdom. With confidence, Pardi entered the specified house from a tree. When he had taken the desired item, money, Pardi didn't realize that dawn was breaking. Many people had already awakened, including the house owner.
Pardi forgot one thing: he wasn't wearing his protective amulet. If the owner had discovered him, Pardi would have surely been caught. And indeed, the homeowner began shouting, and cries of "thief!" echoed from all corners of the house. The residents gathered around, and there was no way for Pardi to escape other than jumping back onto the tree he used to enter, then climbing down and running as fast as he could.
As the day was breaking, the sunlight became visible, and Pardi had not been found by the villagers. He waited for an opportunity to escape. Fortunately, the villagers moved away, and, of course, Pardi didn't miss the golden opportunity to leave. Whether he was lucky or not, there were no villagers around the tree he used to escape.
Pardi jumped onto the tree, causing some noise. Villagers immediately approached the tree, but Pardi appeared to be nearly on the ground and ready to run. Promptly, they chased and pursued Pardi, who was wearing the gray jacket. Luckily again, Pardi's running skills were fast, but he only followed a straight path, so the villagers knew where he was headed, albeit a bit late.
When Pardi reached halfway, he collided with a young man wearing the same jacket he had on. The bag containing his stolen goods fell, but Pardi ignored it and left the bag and the young man lying in the street. Pardi seemed a bit traumatized since his previous capture, and he didn't want to be caught again because he knew that would be the end for him. He didn't even realize he had run past Boris and Ben's car. The two brothers were still asleep inside the car, waiting for Pardi, who had not yet arrived.
Pardi ran until he reached the dilapidated house where the two brothers lived. Unconsciously, Pardi violated his promise not to steal again, for the second time. "Huuuuh... made it..." Pardi said while catching his breath, sitting on the side of the road.
Pardi sat on the porch, still catching his breath, and the woman's voice echoed again, seemingly from nowhere.
"Hahahaha!... You followed my orders without thinking, huh? Have you forgotten your oath not to steal again?" Pardi's face turned shocked and pale upon hearing the voice.
"I forgot!!! My amulet is gone!!" Pardi cried, lamenting the loss of his amulet.
"Hey!! Can't you hear me?! You're breaking your oath again!" the voice responded with annoyance.
Pardi: "Yes! I know! I also want to ask you, how do I redeem my mistake this time?"
Voice: "That's it, it's simple. Just return to the field in that village and save the young man you bumped into earlier. But before that, change your clothes to exactly the way you were dressed when you first arrived here."
Pardi: "How do I save him? Wait, who is he? Why do I have to save him?"
Voice: "Just scream like a crazy person, or do whatever you want."
Pardi: "Wait, you haven't answered my question. Who is that young man?"
Voice: "................"
Pardi: "Ah well, never mind, as usual, you won't answer!"
Pardi then changed his clothes and rushed to the designated place. And that's how the story unfolds of a seemingly unstable man who dared to defy an angry crowd, although he eventually passed out.
It was revealed that the man dressed in ancient royal attire, who seemed a bit unstable and was screaming to save Fajri from an unjust fate, preventing him from becoming a local barbecue. Fortunately, not long after Pardi passed out, the authorities finally arrived to calm the angry crowd, resolve the issue, and clear up the misunderstandings. Fajri, Boris, Ben, and the unconscious Pardi were taken to the police station for further questioning.
