Better Than Myself

Aunt Nessa didn't take it lightly as she told Sam about the current situation the moment she got back. After many questions and answers, Sam told her to tell Alvin About it since they didn't know the reason why the person asked them to do so but deep within Sam wanted to know if there was any connection between Alvin and the mysterious friend.

The next day at the company, Lisa was extremely happy and nervous when she saw Alvin enter Mia's office. She waited at the door for God knows how many minutes before Alvin stepped out.

He walked past her with an acknowledging nod as she stood there looking at him.

" Mr Daniels?" She said after chasing after him to the elevator.

" Yes?" He turned with a straight face.

" Please can I have a word?" She asked, her voice filled with nervousness. He stared at her for a beat before taking a look at his watch.

" Ten minutes" he said as he headed back to the meeting room.

" Uh yes, thank you" she said as she followed him inside.
