First kill

Ethan slowly crawled towards the nearby tree as he finally after an hour of waiting, sit upright against the trunk of the tree.

As the night fell, the four men on top of the trees also moved in the house as now only one keeping watch was the bald man.

Ethan tried many times to expose a small amount of his mud covered body to bald man but it seemed that the bald man only had night vision and not heat vision.

The bald man would only be able to notice movement but as long as Ethan hid cleverly and moved slowly, he wouldn't be caught.

Since enemies capabilities were unknown, Ethan decided to take his time. The enemy was also highly aleart as they didn't waste their time enjoying to themselves. Each and every single one of them were aleart and observing their surrounding. They were also taking turns keeping watch.

Ethan moved through the farm while crouching as he knew that it would be obvious choice of the intruder and so the sniper would keep close eyes on the farms. The roads instead were obviously not on his watch list as anything on the black road would be highlighted with night vision so his attention to the roads was limited.

Ethan used that to his advantage as he moved in the shades of the trees and moved only when sniper was not looking.

Finally he reached approximately near 1 km of the building and there wasn't much clearing to be hidden near the buildings.

Ethan looked around but couldn't find anything to hide and move forward. He needed to get within 500 meters if he wanted to get a shot at sniper, and maybe even closer to ensure a sure kill.

Ethan took a deep breadth as the time to execute his plan was finally here. He took aim with his rifle but not in the snipers direction, he aimed at the car which was stopped near the drop zone. Although the occupants died, the car was still there so he aimed at the fuel tank.

The cushions for silencing were still tied against the barrel as Ethan aimed and after holding his breadth, fired his first shot. * Poof! * The shot was quite but still blew the cushion to bits as the bullet went straight to it's mark. Ethan hoped to make an explosion but he didn't think that vehicle would explode but even if it didn't, his desired effect would be produced.

* Tink! Booom! *

Fortunately, there was a huge explosion and the area surrounding the car exploded into the sea of flames, the explosion grabbed the attention of the sniper and the light from explosion almost blinded the bald man. The sniper swiftly took of his goggles and looked at the area near the car after wasting few seconds.

The time was all that Ethan needed because as soon as he fired the round, he ran towards the residential area. His goal was to reach the nearest building and the time that sniper wasted adjusting his eyes to brightness and too look around the car for any intruder was enough for Ethan to reach the nearest house as he dived in the shadow of the wall just below the window.

The lights of all the houses were on and it was except the one in which the enemies stayed. Ethan slowly stood up and looked inside the house. no one was there, not even the loot. It was all taken and only some scraps were left like gun attachment and bullets.

Ethan went inside and collected whatever he found as he moved closer and closer through buildings. The enemies on the other hand were aleart and on guard.

Ethan's first priority was the sniper so as soon as he reached the building closest the the house, he decided to take out the sniper.

He needed to be smart about it so he went to the door of the nearby house and put down few of the shotgun shells. He removed the metal part from the bullet and poured the gunpowder on top of some clothes. He then put the shotgun shells in the cloth and produced the sparks with stones he found on the ground which lighted the clothes on fire.

Ethan swiftly rushed upstairs as the metal casing of the shotgun shells got hotter and hotter. The fire also caught up to the door and lit the door on fire. The shells exploded by themselves under the heat as loud sounds were produced. As all of enemies were busy looking for origin of the sound, Ethan was on the roof hiding behind the staircase and aimed at the sniper who was looking down stairs at the door of his building.

He was barely 50 meaters apart as Ethan took out his revolver and Swiftly shot the man. * Bang! * the bullet hit the bald man squarely in head as his head exploded like water melon. the echo of the gunshot was heard far away but was lost in between the bang and boom sounds of shotgun shells exploding.

The first man was down, seven to go! Ethan then took out his Kar98 and aimed at the windows of the house, one unlucky man peaked outside and * Bang! * his head which was covered by level 2 helmet also exploded like a watermelon and red colour was plastred on the window. A level two helmet blocked 50% of the damage from sniper but this wasn't the game. Half a bullet was still a bullet and brain receiving half the impact of a sniper round would still result in death.

The enemies now knowing general direction of their enemy, dared not to peek out but they all rushed on the roof. The most logical choice was to attack the attackers from multiple direction as the group split up and some went to back door while two men apeared on rooftop.

Ethan again aimed at the first gun and fired * Bang! * his shot hit the man in shoulder instead of the helmet as the man was wearing the metal armoured helmet. Hitting him in the head would be futile, which depraved Ethan the satisfaction of scoring the headshot. He didn't dwell on it as he swiftly switched to the pistol and aimed at the other guy with a mask and night vision. The guy finally located Ethan and yelled " He is on the rooooof! * while blasting ethan's direction with a hail of bullets from his AK47

Before the first few round hit the wall, Ethan fired the shot with his revolver * bang! * this time aim was at the neck of the guy with AK47 as the 7.62 caliber bullet blasted open the neck of the man. Ethan unfortunately suffered from a scrap wound on his arm as he hid behind the wall.

The man with shoulder wound also hid behind a wall as his friend died with his head flying off away from the body along with metal helmet.

Ethan swiftly took out the bandage wraps he found in the first house as he wrapped the wound on his arm. He soon heard a click sound as the enemy threw something. Ethan being the experienced one, knew instantly that it was a grenade. He didn't wait for the grenade to fly towards him as he ran and jumped off the building into the nearby tree and hanged on the branch.

* Boom! *

A huge explosion destroyed the wall as Ethan let go of the branch and dropped on the ground. It was time to hide and hunt the remaining ones.
