The Death of a King

I spotted Jon by the entrance, with the few guards he had with him, 10 of them. And he was rushing towards me, but I quickly caught his eye before pointing to Sansa, and he nodded.

Jorgen led a detachment of 4 men towards Sansa, while the other 6 came to me. But I ignored them as I focused on Joffrey.

Cersei and Jaime was sitting over him, as he continued choking. Most of the nobles had stood up, and that's when I spotted something out of the corner of my eye.

Joffreys fool, and Littlefingers spy.

Fuck. I didn´t think Littlefinger would be so daring, with Tommens marriage. And I could see Sansa was conflicted, she didn´t want to, she resisted even. But the man began grabbing her, forcing her with him.

I stood up and rushed forward, slicing across the marriage plaza, gathering the attention of a few nobles as I rushed at Sansa.

Jorgen had seen the same as I had, and he too was running towards Sansa.

The fool, for all his faults. Wasn't a stupid man, and he quickly lifted Sansa up, rushing off with her. And at that point, Tommen saw his wife being forcibly taken away.

"Tommen!" Sansa shouted as she resisted.

"Sansa!!!!" The boy exclaimed, desperation seeping through his voice. But I sure as fuck wouldn´t allow Littlefinger to hamper by plans.

I rushed forward, as I closed the distance, and as the fool rushed into the garden, the gardens I knew like my back pocket. I took a right turn, a fast road. While Jorgen ran behind them, following on their tail.

But I had planned it well, as I rounded a corner. I lifted my hands, before slamming them into the face of the fool, whom had turned around to look at Jorgen, only to see my hands as he turned back.

He was knocked out cold, and began falling down. His hold on Sansa loosened, as she began falling. But I grabbed her in time, keeping her from falling.

I quickly put her down and behind me, as I turned towards Jorgen.

"Take the man into custody, and give Lord Gerold the green signal." I said, and he nodded. Sending 2 men to deal with Ser Fool, while the third ran to Lord Gerold.

Meanwhile, I turned towards Sansa.

"Are you alright?" I asked her, and although shaken by a large margin, she slowly nodded.

"Thank you, I keep getting deeper and deeper in your debt." She said with a smile, a genuine one.

"I´m sure you will repay them soon." I said, and she nodded as I began leading her back towards the Wedding Plaza, and on the way. Jon and his 6 guards regrouped with me and Jorgen, as we made our way back.

As we turned the corner, I saw Tyrion being taken away by the Gold Cloaks, and Sansa was looking around wildly.

"Where is Sansa!?" She asked, just as we rounded the corner, and she spotted me, a smile forming on her lips.

"Good job, Lord Alexander, take Sansa into custody." She said, as 3 men of the Kingsguard and Jaime stepped forward, their hands on their sheathes.

And my men mirrored said movement.

"I will do no such thing." I said simply, and Cersei looked at me wildly.

"She is a conspirator to my sons DEATH! SHE ESCAPED ONCE HE DIED!" She shouted, desperation apparent in her face.

"She was kidnapped, and I have taken the man into custody. And I believe Littlefinger is the true conspirator." I said calmly, as the Kingsguard remained standing.

"Petyr is a LOYAL MAN, and if you do not want YOUR HEAD CUT OFF, then you will do as I say. KINGSGUARD, ARREST HER AND ANY IN OUR WAY!" She shouted, and I knew she was long lost.

"Men of the Kingsguard, who do you serve? The Queen Dowager or the King? And if I may remind you, King Joffrey is dead, so Prince Tommen is the heir to the Iron Throne, and Sansa Stark is his wife." I said, as the Kingsguard drew their swords, Ser Meryn Trant at the front of their formation.

"She is not yet Queen! TAKE LORD ALEXANDER INTO CUSTODY." She shouted, and even Tywin could see she had gone too far.

"Try it, men of the Kingsguard. You won't make it." Jorgen said with a smile, as he stood at the forefront of our 6 men.

"None of you are Ser Arthur Dayne, and most of you are average Knights, we are not." Jon said, and I could see that the Kingsguard wanted to fight, even for the simple reason of their honour. But I knew that, Tommen. For all his faults, would interfere.

"That's enough, you will not touch my wife." Tommen said spinkly from the side, but the Kingsguard heard it. And eventually stood down, they didn't want to earn the hatred of their future King.

**Ser Damian Grafton**

The red torch, flamed at the top of Kings Landing's walls, was the signals we needed. As I ordered our men to head out.

"Set Sail!" I shouted, as I turned towards Cedric Bracken, standing in leather armour by the side.

"Are you certain that he is here?" I asked him, and he nodded.

"Aye, a ship was seen heading into the fog. I have an agent onboard, they should be somewhere South-West of here." I heard him say and I sighed, I don't know how he managed to get an agent onboard Petyr Baelish's ship, but I would not complain.

However, after that. We all kept silent, we had 7 War Galleys travelling through the mist as it stood, Petyr would not escape.

....

It took us 15 minutes, 15 minutes till he was discovered. A shadow was seen at the front-bow, and soon after. It became a ship, before the description of Petyr´s ship was seen, and we immediately rushed forward. All silence was disregarded as knights and soldiers were brought to the deck.

The ship, a cog which was anchored, quickly tried to escape, but they had no momentum, nor any wind and they were anchored. So before they even got any momentum, we were on them, our ship slammed into their sides, as hooks were thrown overboard, and we began the boarding procedure.

Men in full armour rushed forward, jumping onto the other ship, and proceeded to slaughter the mercenaries onboard the ship, whom stood no chance.

But before I could react, I saw a shadow of movement in the corner of my eye, and turning towards it. I saw Cedric bring out a crossbow, before leaning over the railing. And shooting down.

I didn´t know why, as I rushed to the railing, looking over the ship and towards the water, only to see a small sailboat.

With a single man by the oars, rowing off. Except he had an bolt in his head, and he was laying down on the boat, unmoving.

"Send a team down to confirm his identity or death." Was all Cedric said and I nodded, but at the same time. I was relieved.

Petyr was a man of ambition, and we all knew it. He had served under me in Gulltown, and I never quite liked him, I knew something was wrong. And I felt a burden was lifted off my shoulders as he died.

Petyr was a dangerous man, but that is all. He "was"
