Deal

"Who?"

He quickly turned around.

"Maya?" Aru was shocked to see Maya and her bodyguard standing behind him.

Before he could process what was happening, the mice on his arm fell. They scrambled back to their burrow in fear upon seeing the two new figures. One even ran down his clothes as they scrambled.

"Eeek!"

Maya stepped back in shock.

With furrowed brows, her clear eyes looked at Aru with a hint of disgust.

"What—" Maya started to ask what he was doing with the mice.

But Aru stopped it, "DON'T."

"Were you talking to the mice?" Maya asked with pity.

"I said don't, please," he begged.

Seeing that he was unwilling to speak, Maya decided to ignore it for the time being. What could she do if the kid was talking to the mice? She was not a shaman and couldn't cure Aru of his apparent insanity.

"Why are you here?" Aru finally recovered and asked.
