Cavern

The tunnel leading to the underground cavern was hidden inside an inconspicuous house in the residential area.

Three groups met at the tunnel entrance.

Aru, the matriarch, and Himav made up the first group. Deva and the demon hunters, along with the demon guiding them, made up the second group. The last was a group made up of Jaya and some warriors of the Ice Phoenix clan.

The three groups had gathered before the tunnel with multiple goals in mind. 

Eliminate the demons.

Save Maya.

Save the city.

Protect the people.

Only by achieving all would they be satisfied.

"Aru, you should leave," Deva said while wiping the blood from his sword, which he used to kill the demons guarding the tunnel entrance.

He was concerned about the safety of Aru, so his tone was serious.

Aru could understand why he was worried. If he were in Deva's position he would have said the same.
