Aru took the pendant and placed it within his coat before going into the inner city.

However, a satisfied smile was creeping onto his face while he flew away. 

It would be a lie to say that he didn't feel good when receiving their respect.

'Someone thanked me.' He could feel the weight of their emotions as the mother and child bowed to thank him.

'Someone actually thanked me.' Aru couldn't believe it.

In his past life, no one had thanked him for any of his good deeds.

'Was I a bad person in the past?' While he felt happy, he also began to question his way of living in the past.

'Most certainly not. I never harmed anyone and helped anyone that I could. I am sure that I wasn't a bad person.'

'Even when others took advantage of me. I took it as a learning experience and continued with my life. I never blamed others for my misfortunes.'
