Temple

The spirit looked sad when it realized Aru didn't recognize it.

"I thought you came to visit me," said the chubby, football-sized spirit, its head drooping. Its ears and tail stopped moving as it floated weakly in the air.

Aru noticed the spirit's excitement fading instantly.

After a while, the spirit recovered from its emotions, lifted its head to meet Aru's gaze, and asked, "Does no one know about me?"

"I don't know," Aru replied honestly.

"Ahhhh! It seems like no one knows about me." The spirit's brightness dimmed as it shrank even smaller. "My temple is abandoned, and no one knows about me. That's a little sad," the gloomy spirit mumbled, floating around Aru.

Aru let the spirit wander and focused on his left arm. The spirit wasn't dangerous, so he could concentrate on what he wanted to do.
