Trapped

Sunlight streamed through the gaps in the temple's ceiling, illuminating everything inside. Aru could now see his surroundings clearly.

The walls were cracked, and the marble floor was caked with dirt and mud. Giant pillars that once supported the structure lay scattered across the floor, broken and shattered.

Small patches of grass and tiny shrubs were sprouting up inside the temple, and large vines hung down from the ceiling. It was evident that nature was beginning to encroach upon the temple and its surroundings.

In short, it looked like an ancient, dilapidated ruin untouched by human hands for centuries.

While looking around, Aru suddenly noticed a giant statue on one side of the temple. He was unknowingly drawn to it as the light shone upon it.

He stepped over the muddy floor and grass to approach the statue, which was situated on a platform.
