"It's real," the appraiser from Artha Auction House said, his voice trembling with excitement.
He was examining the round, metallic-looking ball placed carefully on a special artefact.
"This is the real deal," he repeated, his voice slightly shaking.
As the city's top appraiser, one of the best on the entire continent, he knew there was no way a couple of kids could fool him.
"This is the spark everyone was talking about. The one from the north, right?" he asked the two young men seated across the table.
"Yes," Aru nodded with a smile.
Over the past week, he had gathered extensive information about Artha and only after confirming that the Artha Auction House was reputable did he decide to have the spark appraised.
"Let me take a closer look. I need to determine the grade of this spark. It won't take long." The appraiser retrieved an iron slab from a nearby cupboard.
