Colin thought it was most likely the case since animals could sense danger a mile away. The tattered remains of what looked to be a shifter lying amongst forest floor litter was definitely a sign of danger.
“If I catch the sons of bitches that did this, they’re fucking dead!” Roland spat angrily as he stomped back into view, pulling a t-shirt over his head as he walked towards them
He had run off on the heels of a scent the moment he’d gotten on the scene, Colin was told.
Based on his evident anger, Colin knew he hadn’t found anything concrete.

However, if one didn’t know them, one would be inclined to believe they weren’t even related. They were polar opposites in both appearance and demeanor.
