Luciano’s POV
“She is downstairs with her father.”
“Er…Erede is here?!” she shouted out with happiness covering her face.
“Yes, he is here…... He has been waiting for you for a while now. He is here to take you home.” I speak, trying to reciprocate the happiness and sounding happy for her while deep down I am in tears.
I take a deep breath, trying to process the conflicting emotions of letting her go once and for all. And a certain percentage craves me to plead with her to stay.
I don't want her to go.
Especially with the man downstairs.
Erede had arrived at the forest cottage earlier than James and me. I did not expect the turn of events at my uncle's warehouse, and I thought I would be back in time at the cottage before his time of arrival.
After saving the baby. I did not know what to do or proceed with. I wanted a family member to guide us on how to proceed.
