A week passed in what felt like an instant, and the time for the delivery finally arrived.
"Why did you buy this much strawberry milkshake?" Amelia asked, eyeing the massive gallon of strawberry milkshake.
"For our guest," Leon replied, his eyes focused on the Ap bracelet he was browsing through.
His sister glanced at the bracelet with envy. "When will you buy one for me?" she asked.
"Soon," Leon assured her. "I promised I would buy one in a month, and I will."
As they chatted, a sudden crackling sound caught their attention. A dark swirling portal began to form, expanding as it opened. Out of the portal emerged a massive pink-scaled worm, about three meters long.
"Are you Leon Gupta?" the worm inquired, its voice surprisingly clear and articulate. Amelia looked on in awe, her eyes wide with shock at the sight of the enormous worm. The creature had two tiny receptors on its head, a large mouth, and two beady eyes, all set against its vibrant pink scales.
Leon turned his attention to the worm, ignoring his sister's astonishment. "Yes, I am. You must be my delivery worm."
The worm nodded enthusiastically. "Yes, my name is Nini. I'm happy to help," she said. With a wide open mouth, she retrieved a box from her interdimensional space. "Here are your goodies."
Leon glanced at the contents and then back at Nini. "Actually, it's my first time using your service, so I decided to get a little gift for you," he said, pointing at the gallon of strawberry milkshake.
Nini's eyes widened with curiosity as she approached the gallon and sniffed the sweet aroma. "Is this food from your planet?" she asked, clearly intrigued.
Leon nodded, and Nini eagerly began to drink from the gallon. Her eyes lit up with delight as she savored the taste. "It's so sweet! Thank you!" she said, her satisfaction evident as she finished the entire content.
Nini looked at Leon with curiosity and asked, "Is there anything else?"
Leon shook his head. "Not for now, but I'd like to propose an exclusive contract with you," he said.
Nini's expression darkened. "I'm sorry, but I don't think you're eligible for that," she replied. She prepared to leave, but Leon's next words stopped her.
"How about this: give me your contact . If I win my first game, you'll grant me your exclusive contract. " Leon proposed.
Nini raised an eyebrow. "And what if you lose?"
"I'll be your servant," Leon replied firmly.
"Leon, you can't do this," Amelia shouted.
"Relax, I know what I'm doing," Leon said calmly, turning to his sister.
Nini pondered for a moment. "What use would a loser be to me?" she questioned.
"Then fine, no contract. But give me a chance. Watch my match, and if I win, I'll get your contract. If I don't, just think of it as a clown was blabbering," Leon said, meeting her gaze.
Nini considered his offer and then nodded. "Alright, I'll be watching. Good luck," she said before leaving making a wormhole.
Leon muttered, "Can't say that went well, but at least I got a chance," as he examined the contents of the box. Inside were ten bloodline bottles and two potions.
"What are these for?" Amelia asked, approaching him.
"You'll find out soon. I'm going to need your help," Leon said, explaining the process to her.
"Is it really that difficult?" she asked after hearing him.
"Yes," Leon nodded.
He detailed everything, then took a deep breath and drank the Double Integration potion. Next, he took a syringe filled with 20% bloodline essence and injected it into his heart.
For a few seconds, nothing happened, but then waves of intense pain surged through him. The bloodline essence began to transform his DNA. Although Solomon could numb the pain receptors, he left 20% of them active, which was more than Leon had ever experienced. Despite the excruciating pain, Leon gritted his teeth and clenched the bottle in his mouth to bear it.
Amelia watched him with wide, horrified eyes, seeing him struggle against the unimaginable agony.
"Leon…" she murmured, tears streaming down her face.
After ten minutes, Leon fell silent, his breathing heavy and labored. Amelia rushed to him and quickly administered the rejuvenation potion.
As Leon's ragged breaths began to stabilize and return to normal, Amelia exhaled in relief, her worry easing.
"Leon," she murmured, looking at him with a mixture of concern and resolve. "I've decided—I'm going to awaken like you," she declared with determination.
Leon, still disoriented and unaware of what had happened, slowly opened his eyes after an hour of rest.
"Leon, you're awake," Amelia exclaimed as soon as Leon opened his eyes.
"Yeah, I am," Leon replied, his voice steady.
"You look cool, by the way," she added with a sudden smile, handing him a small mirror.
Raising an eyebrow, Leon took the mirror and glanced at his reflection. Not much had changed, except for his hair and eyes. His once dark hair was now white, with cosmic-colored tips shimmering at the ends. His eyes had transformed too, now a mesmerizing cosmic hue with irises shaped like radiant stars.
"Wow, I guess these are mutations, but are they of any use or just cosmetic?" Leon mumbled to himself, knowing that mutations could be either useful or merely for appearance.
"Solomon, tell me about them," he asked mentally.
"As you wish, master," Solomon replied, bringing up a screen in front of him.
[Mutations:
Hair Color: Cosmetic
Fantasy Eyes: Allows you to see one's deepest desires and secrets, and see many layers of world in different visions.
unlocked Passives:
Fantasy Immunity: Immune to all mental and psychic-related abilities
Fantasy Echo: Upon taking significant damage, Leon leaves behind an "echo" of himself made of pure energy that distracts or confuses opponents, allowing him a brief moment to either counterattack or retreat. ]
Leon, curious about the full capabilities of his Fantasy Eyes, asked, "What are the other benefits of these eyes?"
[Master, the Fantasy Eyes are the pinnacle of all eye-related abilities,] Solomon replied. [They allow you to see the world from any perspective—whether it's x-ray, infrared, or anything else. The potential of these eyes is limitless. You only need to understand the basic principles to utilize any vision you can imagine. But don't worry, Master, I'm confident you can unlock the active ability 'Perfect Fantasy Eyes,' which includes all the visions mastered by previous progenitors.]
Leon nodded, now understanding why Rimuru chose this bloodline first instead of the Creation Progenitor bloodline.
"Leon are you alright?" Amelia asked seeing Leon absentminded.
"Nothing , I was just checking out my abilities" Leon replied.
Amelia nodded and asked about the abilities " Well, none of them are active ones that I can show you right now" Leon relied.
"its okay, I can wait but when will you gain your first Active ability?" She asked.
"Don't worry , when I will get it , I will show it to you first" Leon said, as he gets up from the bed.
"first I am going to test out my powers" Leon said and then logged in to UVR.
Amelia looked at sleeping Leon and exited the rom, while taking a last look at him.
