I yawned. When that man said he would start training tomorrow, I didn't expect that by tomorrow he meant 1 hour after 12 o'clock at night... it's not wrong to say this is tomorrow but... oh well...
I changed my annoyed expression when I see Zenius return to the empty room that would be used as my training ground, he was carrying a leather sword sheath with a belt and a gold emblem on the edge, "thank you..." I touched the scabbard and stroked it, the material felt good and expensive. "Get your fairess out," he ordered. I then squatted down and opened the Keeper and took a deep breath, "dear best book in the world please bring it out fairess," even tho I looked down I could feel a strange look from Zenius, I grimaced in disgust, this book really showed me the hilt of the sword.
Did Orchid also have to do this strange thing? It seems like it was only once when he first received this book because he definitely had a spirit sac... not fair....
Zenius helped me put the belt from the sword sheath to the left side of my waist.
I lifted fairess with both of my hands.
"You have to learn to take a strong stance to hold a good body proportion," then Zenius taught me with both hands touching my body and correcting it.
"Why do we have to practice at this time?" i looked at him with a tired look, Zenius looked at me sharply, making me look forward and try to focus.
He looked like he was going to pounce on me.
"Do you know when Keeper works?" I shook my head, "it could have been this morning," he said sarcastically.
I sighed, "try swinging this hard until Amira comes to bring you breakfast," he turned and stepped closer to the door, he raised his right hand once as if to say goodbye.
"Hey! Where are you going?" I shouted.
"Spirits that come down to earth also need sleep, you know," he turned, "you said that could happen this morning?"
Zenius stopped walking when he reached the door, he smiled a sly smile, "there is no death nearby in my book," those were his last words before leaving the room.
I don't understand how Locker works, but remembering that our books are connected makes me almost slam the fairess to the floor.
That bastard pranked me.
I took a deep breath, the positive thing that can be taken is that I can more quickly master sword techniques to protect myself.
I lifted and swing as hard as I could while trying to resist the stance that Zenius had applied to my body. There is no clock in this room. There is nothing but one small window above the door for ventilation. I don't know how many tens of times I have swing this sword.
Even the cold weather here doesn't stop my sweat from flowing.
A knock on the door made me stop and stretch, Amira came carrying a tray with a bowl and glass on it.
"Breakfast has arrived," she smiled sweetly.
I sat down and looked at a bowl of meat soup and a glass of mineral water placed in front of me. "I will prepare tea when Master Zenius wakes up."
I chugged the water like a dehydrated dog in the desert.
"I'm happy with your arrival, he looks better than before but it doesn't rule out the possibility that he's mourning Mr. Orchid."
I looked at Amira who has a sad face, "what is Orchid like?"
"He was a good man and could be said to be like a father to Mr. Zenius. The two of them met after each lost his partner. Mr. Orchid was the best Sun Traveler. I was also shocked when I found out he was gone," I looked at her, "...you know? I thought it was just the imperial family knows."
Amira chuckled, "the outline is like that but non-human servants like me or other residences have their own agreements," she explained.
"Then what about the painter?" Amira changed her expression, her hands were seen covering her lips as if holding herself back from revealing a secret. Her eyes looked deeply into my face. "To be honest..."
Amira suddenly looked back, "i will call you back when master is ready, he called me already, enjoy your breakfast," she smiled again and bowed once before closing the door, leaving the room. I raised an eyebrow in confusion, why was she looking at me like that, well... I didn't want to add to my headache because now I was very hungry.
I started feeding soup into my mouth, one hand grabbed the Keeper who was lying beside the fairess.
I opened the book, all the pages were blank, so far i know how this book works is not that complicated.
The ribbon will glow if a major event occurs and the previously empty page will be filled with a detailed explanation of the event and i am tasked with blocking variables outside of written destiny, for example: Clowner.
Clower itself is an organization consisting of former travelers and recorders who are trying to make the Earth God the absolute leader because they believe what we are doing is extreme and seems to be destroying their morals, but I don't know what their backing plan is if bad things don't happen and the earth just just providing good things, isn't that unbalanced? And what do they plan if this one world becomes a zombie because they stop the Recorder from working? I was quite doubtful that the plan was only limited to making the Earth God the absolute leader.
I can at least understand these things beyond common sense well, except how the Locker works and many details I haven't know it yet, maybe I should ask Zenius about it later.
