**Cross**
"Cross, you're out of your room," Isabella gasped, surprised. "Does your brother know about this?"
"Of course, he gave me permission to," I replied, walking up to her and carrying Nathan from where she sat on the couch. "He's such a beautiful baby." I bounced him up and down on my body.
"That's what everyone keeps saying," Isabella smiled from the couch. "I just hope he's not going to end up like me."
"What do you mean by that?" My brow furrowed in confusion.
"I don't want him to be wolfless like I am, Cross. I want him to have a wolf companion."
"I know he will, but if by chance he doesn't, I don't think my brother will bother about that anymore. I know how much he loves his son," I reassured her with a smile.
"He does, a lot," she agreed. "He's been constantly doting on our little pup."
"Remind me, I know my brother has a very nasty temper. How did he react when you returned... I wanted to know," I asked Isabella.
