chapter 8

It was the day before exams and sitting arrangement was published and sent to their official class group at the end of the day .

Saim and sammad were in sammad room saim was looking at the picture of his and aroob and sammad was using his phone when he got up with a yelling .

Saim : what happened?

Sammad : did you not saw the sitting arrangement

Saim: no I didn't why

Sammad : you have just won a lottery

Saim : what are you saying

Sammad : look at the sitting arrangement

Saim unlocked his mobile phone and opened class group and saw the sitting arrangement

Saim : what is in this

Sammad : fool look who is sitting with you

Saim looked at the name beside his and saw aroob sheikh and his breath hitched

Sammad: while raising a eyebrow are you happy now 😊

Saim : shut up

Arooba saw the sitting arrangement and saw that she will sit with saim and she remembered his beautiful eyes but decided to not care about it .

The next day aroob arrived a little before the start of exam and after a few minutes saim arrived. They sat with their friends and and when the examiner arrived they sat in their specified seats . Soon the paper started and they started writing and saim glanced at aroob from time to time . Aroob didn't notice it because she was concentrating on her exam . He would glance at her when she asked for extra sheet.

Soon aroob and saim finished their paper they asked for thread and soon the examiner gave it to them and went to the front .

Saim effortlessly tied the thread while aroob was struggling with it and when he glanced at her he saw that she was trying to poke a hole in the papers to tie the thread.

Saim: let out a chuckle 🤭

Aroob heard it and raised an eyebrow at him.

Saim: may I help you in a whispering voice

Aroob while rolling her eyes 👀: no thank you

After this saim asked examiner the permission to leave the class which was granted and he went from there.

Aroob after a lot struggle was able to tie the thread and had a sigh of relief. She handed her paper and went out of the classroom.

She joined mia who was sitting in the canteen using phone .

Aroob: How was the paper

Mia : it was easy

Aroob : let's eat something while waiting for zoya

Mia : ok what do you want to eat

Aroob : fries

They went to get fries and Zoya soon joined them and they talked about their exams and soon they went for their home .

While saim was thinking about the expressions that aroob made in the classroom and went to home with sammad.

The next day students were doing their paper when aroob's roll no slip fell to the ground and when she about to reach out to pick it a hand came and picked it up and gave it to her .

Soon they finished their paper and went outside

Aroob : thank you for picking my slip

Saim: it's my pleasure

They went from there and they didn't talk to each other after that.

The next day aroob clicked an ugly picture of mia and they were running aroob in the front and mia before her aroob bumped into saim and they fell on the ground saim on the bottom and aroob on top of him and they got lost in each other's eyes their heart started beating faster . Their faces were so close to each other they could feel others breath on their faces .

Their intense eyelock was broken because of sammad cough . They stoo up so quickly that aroob head bumped with saim chin and he let out a groan .

Aroob : I am really really sorry 😔 I was not looking at where I was going are you hurt do you feel pain

Saim : it's okay it doesn't hurt anymore

The bell rang for paper starting and they went from there .

Aroob started to glance at saim from time to time because she started to have some unknown feeling in her heart which she could not identify .

Saim noticed her glances and she glanced at him his body become stiff and his breathing became faster .

On the second last exam day aroob' s chair was broken when she was going to sit on it and she became worried to carry a new chair from the next class room .

Saim saw her dilemma and went to fetch a chair for her and put it in the place of broken chair .

Aroob : thank you

Saim : your welcome 🤗

On the last exam day aroob was walking back and forth in the classroom before the exam because it was the exam in which she is the weakest .

Her foot 🦶🏻 made contact with the chair 🪑 with a bang .

Saim was also present there and when he saw this he rushed to her side.

Mia and Zoya also rushed to her side to ask her well being and were astonished to see saim and sammad.

Saim : are you okay👍🏻 are you hurt

Mia: does your foot hurt

Zoya : do you want to sit

Aroob: I am ok 👌 don't worry I am not feeling any pain. Sorry for making you worry.

Aroob (why is this boy asking for my well being I am not his friend well whatever ignore him)

Soon the examiner arrived and they started writing.

The last exam was over and they went to their friends.

Saim with his friends group.

Abdul : the exam was easy right

Sammad: yeah it was now we have to again start the boring of of classes

Abdul : yeah but we wouldn't have to worry about exams so we will bear with it

Ali : yeah it was a week full of tension

They talked for a few minutes and went back to their houses .

Ali and Abdul are also his childhood friends but he was not close to them as sammad

Sammad and saim are best friends while Ali and Abdul are best friends 😄
