Dark Clan – Not the Same as Before

He always had the feeling that this power did not belong to Dark Master. It must belong to someone else.

No matter what, he had to go take a look; he couldn't allow Dark Master to cause any more trouble.

Gu Lan's thoughtful expression was fully captured by Gu Simu. Seeing that he had stopped, Gu Simu spoke up first.

"Father, I will go with you!"

But as soon as her words left her mouth, Gu Lan shook his head to refuse, his expression still somewhat serious.

"No, you should return first!"

This was not a good situation. The aura from Dark Clan was far too terrifying.

He could leave unscathed, but Gu Simu might not be so fortunate.

Gu Lan did not want to put Gu Simu in danger by bringing her along.

He rejected her outright, but Gu Simu showed clear dissatisfaction.

Yet, she didn't speak any further. She understood very well that Gu Lan was thinking of her safety.

Her face flushed with embarrassment, and she turned to leave.
