She had just hung up the phone when Wyatt Perry's personal cell rang. "I know Ranulf Perry," he said, "he's my father."
Mrs. Perry watched Wyatt Perry with a serious face and exclaimed, "Are those scammers calling you again? Those scammers have become so audacious, blatantly lying and deceiving."
"Alright, I'll be right there," Wyatt Perry hung up the phone and said to Mrs. Perry, "It's not a scammer, it's the police station."
"Ah? It's really the police? But your dad has been dead for over a decade; how could he still be alive?" Mrs. Perry was full of questions, "Could someone be impersonating you...?"
"We'll know once we get to the police station."
Wyatt Perry put on his coat and was ready to leave. He turned back to see Mrs. Perry standing still.
Mrs. Perry waved her hand dismissively, "Whether it's that bastard or not, I won't go. You and Claudia go. I'll take care of the kids at home."
"Okay," Wyatt Perry didn't insist.
