Claudia Ross nonchalantly said, "She won't let me off the hook? Heh, let her come find me then. Has she caused me any less trouble before?"
"Claudia..." Amelia Sladder's anxiety was evident in her tightly furrowed brows.
"Don't address me so affectionately; we're not close."
Claudia Ross turned and walked away, with Amelia Sladder following her, rambling nonstop, "Claudia, I know you hate me, but I hope you can listen to me this time. Vindy isn't joking around; she really plans to target you."
"How does she plan to target me?"
Claudia Ross paused her steps, turned back, and looked at Amelia Sladder with impatience.
"I don't know." Amelia Sladder shrugged innocently, shaking her head.
"Come tell me when you do know, so I'll know how to be careful around her," Claudia Ross said with a scoff, "Otherwise, all your words are empty."
"Alright, I'll go find out now."
"Well, thanks a lot!"
