"Why can't I go?" Little An's pouty mouth was very pronounced, and he looked clearly unhappy.
With two kids and one adult, six eyes were all staring at her, and only then did Claudia Ross realize that she had overreacted.
She explained calmly, "What if you catch a cold? We can go to the zoo or the marine park instead."
Little An said, "It's so cold now, all the animals are hibernating, there won't be any interesting animals to see. The marine park has so much water, it's even easier to catch cold there. I don't want to go, I want to go to the hot springs."
"Then you guys go; I won't."
Claudia Ross turned and went into the kitchen, bringing out the fried dough sticks she had just made.
"Mummy is angry," Wyatt Perry gently patted Little An. "Go cheer Mummy up."
Little An warily looked at Claudia Ross, who had a stern face, and it took him awhile to finally move in front of her. "Mummy, are you angry?"
"No." She just didn't want to go to the hot springs.
