Betrayal confirmed

Writer's POV:

Master Li motions for Caleb to stand up and sternly addresses Ivy "You need to come see me when I'm done here. Ivy, I don't have all day. You need to tell everyone the truth, and I'm not about to let you off easily," he says with authority, his tone brooking no argument. He then gestures for Caleb to lead the way, and they step outside together.

They settle on the patio, and Master Li begins, "Isabella is alive and well. She's being kept in an all-white room. Her captors haven't been revealed to me, but she's okay for now. They don't intend to harm her if she cooperates with whatever they want from her. However, I sense an angry soul behind this.

The person who has her is angry at her for his own selfish reasons." Caleb listens intently, his confusion mounting.

Caleb's brows furrow in concern. "Do you have any idea who might be behind this?"

Master Li shakes his head solemnly. "Not yet. But my instincts tell me it's someone with a personal vendetta against her. Someone who feels wronged or slighted by her in some way."

Caleb's fists clench at his sides. "I need to find her. I can't just sit here and do nothing while she's in danger."

Master Li places a reassuring hand on Caleb's shoulder. "Patience, young one. Rushing into this blindly could make things worse. We need to tread carefully and gather more information before making any moves."

Caleb nods, though the urge to act gnaws at him. "I understand. But please, do everything you can to find her. She means everything to me."

Master Li gives him a knowing look. "I will do my best, Caleb. But you must also prepare yourself for whatever we may uncover. The truth behind her disappearance may be more complex than we anticipate."

With a heavy heart, Caleb nods again, steeling himself for the challenges ahead.

Master Li sighs heavily. "I must attend to another pressing matter now. Your mother, Maria, has some explaining to do."

Caleb's jaw tightens, his frustration evident. "I know she's been keeping secrets. But I can't let her get away with whatever she's done to our family."

Master Li nods in agreement. "Indeed. Confronting her is the next step in unraveling that mystery about your brother. But be cautious, Caleb. She may not be willing to cooperate willingly."

Caleb clenches his fists, steeling himself for the confrontation ahead. "I hear you, Sir , I just hope she won't make things even more difficult."

With a reassuring nod, Master Li rises from his seat. "Remember, Caleb, true strength lies in patience and understanding. Approach this situation with a clear mind and a steady heart."

Caleb nods, determination burning in his eyes as he watches Master Li depart. He knows that facing his mother will be no easy task, but he's ready to uncover the truth, no matter the cost. Seeing his brother suffering , along with his wife wasn't something he enjoys as Marvin and him have a solid relationship.

As soon as Master Li stepped inside , he told everyone to settle down and fixed his eyes on Ivy ''I have run out of patience for you. Why don't you want to tell your husband that you started dating him when you were already pregnant with Marvin?" He asked and everyone gasped

Maria's eyes widen in shock as Master Li's words hang heavily in the air. She stammers for a moment, clearly caught off guard by the sudden resume to the matter. "I... I don't know what you're talking about, I've already mentioned that." she manages to stammer out, her voice trembling with fear.

Master Li's gaze remains steady, unwavering in its intensity. "Do not attempt to deceive us, Ivy. The truth cannot be hidden any longer. Marvin deserves to know the circumstances surrounding his conception."

Ivy's face pales, her hands shaking as she struggles to find the right words. "I... I was afraid," she finally admits, her voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't want to lose him... I thought if he knew the truth, he would leave me."

Master Li's expression softens slightly, though his tone remains firm. "Fear can cloud judgment, Ivy. But honesty is the foundation of trust. You must face the consequences of your actions and reveal all the truth to Marvin and Solly , your husband.."

At this point , Solly is clenching his jaws in fear , he remembers all the signs he has been ignoring all this life , he remembers beating himself up for doubting his son , but now , it's clear that all long he was right about it all.

Tears well up in Ivy's eyes as she nods, overcome with guilt and remorse. "I will tell him... I promise," she vows, her voice barely audible amidst the tension-filled silence that hangs over the room.

Master Li turns his attention to Marvin, his expression grave yet compassionate. "Marvin, your mother has something important to tell you," he begins, his voice steady and reassuring. "It concerns the circumstances surrounding your conception."

"What do you mean?" he asks, his voice tinged with apprehension.

Ivy takes a deep breath, summoning the courage to speak. "Marvin, I... I need to confess something to you," she says, her voice trembling with emotion. "When your father and I started dating, I was already pregnant with you."

Marvin's expression shifts from confusion to shock as he absorbs his mother's words. "But... why didn't you tell me this before?" he asks, his voice tinged with hurt.

Ivy hangs her head, unable to meet her son's gaze. "I was afraid," she admits, her voice barely above a whisper. "I didn't want to lose your father, and I thought if he knew the truth, he would leave me."

Marvin's heart aches at his mother's confession, his mind reeling with a mix of emotions. "I... I don't know what to say," he murmurs, struggling to process the revelation.

Master Li places a reassuring hand on Marvin's shoulder. "It's understandable to feel overwhelmed, Marvin," he says gently. "But honesty is the first step towards healing. Your mother has shown great courage in admitting the truth."

Marvin nods, his thoughts swirling as he grapples with the weight of his mother's confession. "Thank you for telling me," he says quietly, his voice laced with emotion. "I need some time to process all of this."

Master Li nods in understanding, offering Marvin a supportive smile. "Take all the time you need, Marvin," he says. "We are here for you, every step of the way."

Master Li nods in acknowledgment, his gaze unwavering as he turns to address the rest of the family. "Let this be a lesson to us all. Secrets only serve to breed mistrust and division. It is time for the truth to come to light, no matter how painful it may be."

Solly's voice cuts through the tense atmosphere, his tone firm and resolute. "After this revelation, I don't want to see Ivy," he declares, his gaze unwavering as he addresses the room. "She has deceived us for far too long, and I will not tolerate it any longer."

Ivy bows her head, her eyes filled with remorse as she listens to Solly's words. "I understand," she whispers, her voice heavy with regret. "I will accept whatever consequences come from my actions."

Marvin's heart aches at the rift forming within his family, torn between his loyalty to his mother and his desire for honesty and transparency. "I... I don't know what to do," he admits, his voice wavering with uncertainty.

Master Li places a comforting hand on Marvin's shoulder, offering him a reassuring smile. "It's a difficult situation, Marvin," he says gently. "But sometimes, the truth can be painful. It's important to remember that healing can only come from facing the truth, no matter how difficult it may be."

Marvin nods, his mind spinning with conflicting emotions. "I just want to cleanse my wife and I so that we will be able to heal and move forward."

Master Li offers Marvin a sympathetic nod. "Change is never easy, but it's often necessary for growth and healing."

All this time Wendy and Caleb were just quiet. Master Li told everyone that the following day he will cleanse Marvin and Wendy and remove the spell on Wendy causing her the loss of babies.

"Marvin also needs to be introduced to his true ancestors so they will bless him with babies" Master Li says, his words hang heavy in the air, Solly's heart clenches with a mixture of hope and despair.

The prospect of finally breaking the curse on Wendy fills him with a glimmer of optimism, yet the thought of Marvin being introduced to his true ancestors stirs a deep-seated fear within him. He knows the truth behind Marvin's lineage, a truth that is a reflection of Ivy's betrayal.

Wendy reaches out and gently squeezes Solly's hand, offering him a reassuring smile. "It's going to be okay, Dad," she says softly, her eyes filled with empathy. "We'll get through this together."

Solly nods, grateful for Wendy's comforting presence. "Thank you, my dear," he replies, his voice choked with emotion. "We'll face whatever comes our way, as a family."

All this time Ivy was watching them , she was pretending to be remorseful but she wasn't as she was still seeing Marvin's father.

What she didn't know was that Master Li could see right through her and he knew exactly how it was going to end for her.
